I guess it's probably the guy that, more-or-less, hand selected her as an opponent and proceeded to accuse her of cheating, during a lifestream, absent even a shred of actual evidence.

There's a recent video from Live at the Bike of her donking off her stack with a bad straight (on the bottom hand) and missed flush draw up top. The absolute best she could have ever hoped for on that hand was to win with the straight on the bottom and chopped the pot.

If there's one thing Garrett should really be kicking himself over, it should be his failure to get that 134.5k back legitimately along with everything else that was in her stack at that table. My take on Robbi is she's just allergic to folding if she thinks she has a read, or alternatively, has anything whatsoever that could even conceivably win the hand.

I also find it ironic how she gets some hate here, and from some others, for doing anything to capitalize on the attention that she never asked for in the first place. Why shouldn't she try to monetize being thrust into the limelight by any means possible? Wouldn't most of you do the same?

she clearly wanted attention and was trying very hard to get it; and is now loving it.

too many 'coincidences' and outright lies for me to believe anything she says.
she seems to lie very naturally, minimize it when called out, and then look for sympathy because she 'never asked for any of this'.

How is this price in competitive events less 'predatory' than hellmuth or matusow charging big markup?

I do believe that Robbi's lawsuit threats are nonsense, and one will never occur.

This is because both players are considered limited purpose public figures in poker, as they chose to voluntarily appear on a high stakes poker stream.

Therefore, the threshold to prove defamation requires "actual malice" -- which is defined as saying something untrue which you KNOW is untrue.

It is pretty clear that Garrett THINKS he was cheated, so there's no way to show actual malice here.

Case is dead in the water. Robbi's lawyer husband knows this.

At the same time, LOL @ Garrett pretending he is holding back some bombshell which will prove him right. There's nothing he can do at this point, and it's clear that he already shot his load.

Stealing her money was one thing, but now he's trying to dunk again a year later? He's lucky she has a good sense of humor. His death is the only way I could be satisfied and vindicated were I in Robbi's shoes. The investigation found nothing.

BTW I just wanted to be clear in the above post I am not commenting on either’s stated position. This is not the section for that. I am simply pointing out that Nick is clearly surmising that Garrett’s statement includes a dig either at him or others including him.

I have no idea of Garrett’s intent. I guess Nick’s statement just shows how bad the relationship is at this point. I would hope that Garrett would not have Nick in mind when making such a statement…but who the fuck knows? Just the fact Nick reacts to it in that matter is telling.

I will say that for me the product on Fridays is unwatchable. It is terrible poker and feels like a bunch of rich guys shooting the shit and passing around money. Whatever you think of Garrett, his play style greatly changed how those games went. For my money, they were much more interesting.

I do believe Garrett played a pivotal role in Feldman’s progression as an EP, the growth of LATB and the growth of Hustler. Now that he has gone the brand is so strong that it doesn’t seem to have any effect. But the games were much more interesting imho with an aggressive pro in them.

Adelstein is just basically admitting he is a self-loathing Jew obviously. I find it incredible that as of April this year, Ryan Feldman would say he believes that there is a 40% chance that Robbi cheated. This was after the investigation, and everything was completed. Of course later he tried to go back on his statement.

So Garrett is coming back and he will be playing on the Bally’s stream and the WPT stream this week. It’s seems Garrett is the only guy who really moves the needle with these streams. Although the WPT stream is just because of the tournament and God only knows what will become of the Ballys stream.

It will be interesting to see the numbers here. Interesting that he has not announced anything dealing with PokerGo. I do remember Rob Yong telling Garrett that he was told by people at PokerGo it would be awkward having him back with the 135K still unresolved.

So Garrett could have taken that personally, the PokerGo people could find it as a concern or could be they simply were not interested in doing this right now. I think the timing is probably just not right as PokerGo is in business with GG and it seems all their talent and resources are in the Bahamas right now.

I think the 135K will become a total nom issue as far as Garrett streaming once he does these couple shows. Now, Hustler is the only livestream in LA where Garrett lives. Look, Garrett coming back would be great for HCL. They have been losing high stakes players left & right. Most of the guys not wanting Garrett in the game don’t even play on the stream anymore. Add up the recent private game drama and HCL is in need of a reboot of sorts.

I think Feldman could actually fix things with Garrett. It wouldn’t be easy, but I think he could. Problem is Vertucci has made Garrett so irate that I think Garrett will ultimately not come back. I think that goose is cooked. Polk would literally suck Garrett’s Dick for him to go to the Lodge. I think he will get him there at some point, but it will be a one off.

If I had to guess I would say Garrett will not become a regular livestream player again in the near future. Main reason being there is just no alternative to HCL in LA. The big winner here is Joey Ingram. The guy works about a week total a year and absolutely kills it. His twitter was locked since he hosted the Million Dollar Game at Hustler months ago and now is unlocked for him to get paid & laid just in time for Christmas. Not hating, God Bless the guy. He has made himself a PPV attraction.

BTW I am solidly in the Garrett was cheated camp and have been for some time. Feldman saying 40% when asked by Rob Yong solidified that for me. This Bryan kid is shady af and totally desperate. I think RIP/Robbi/Bryan knew it was more likely than not that Garrett would put Robbi all in at some point.

In real time people are nervous. They are not thinking “Robbi is technically ahead but Garrett is an equity favorite, maybe this isn’t the hand.” They see Jack high beats 9 high. This is our shot. I truly do believe that now. I just don’t believe this guy Bryan would not try and profit off the fact he could see the cards. I also think Garrett knows he will lose in arbitration because there is no real evidence.
