The advance fee check scam has gotten more complex! Apparently they recruit suckers to send the fake checks out and sometimes even have those marks forward real money to another victim to keep the scam going and make them think the rest of the money will be sent soon!

As BWB said in his comment, there's almost no chance that this was a fake cashiers check scam.
The amount involved is too high.
If it were this simple, then every brokedick loser could get a fake cashier's check for $1,000,000, deposit it, wait until it "clears", withdraw the million in pieces via various branches around the metro area, and then leave the country before the check is found to be fake.
When your funds show "available", that gives you the legal right to retrieve all of them. While bank branches usually don't keep $227k in cash lying around (and if they do, they wouldn't give it to one walk-in customer), you do have the right to go to different branches to keep withdrawing until you get all $227k. It's either available, or it isn't. If it shows available, you can withdraw it all, provided they have enough cash in the branch(es) to give you.
The available balance tends to be a function of several factors: your average daily balance, the length of time you've held such a balance, your account history (whether you've bounced checks before, etc), and your creditworthiness. The system then makes a decision if it's willing to trust you until the funds clear, or if you need to wait.
That's why I could walk into a branch, deposit a $1,000 check, and have it available immediately. The system deduces from my several decades of banking history that I wouldn't ruin my life by scamming them for $1,000. However, if I deposited a check for $100,000, there would definitely be a hold until it cleared.
In Chrissy's case, he does NOT have a stable high balance. It's the opposite. He's probably at or near zero a lot of the time, and then has these big infusions of cash, followed by big withdrawals. They would not make such large cash available to someone like him until it completely clears beyond any possibility of being shenanigans.
However, Chrissy is indeed playing with fire in a few ways. This probably raises various (automatic) flags regarding money laundering, fraud, and tax evasion. I have a few other ideas but I don't want to share them publicly at this time.
KD is the hero we deserve. It's real easy to hop on and have a go at CM because he's not going to do anything, it's another thing to put yourself in front of MM or JS knowing you're going to be receiving death threats. Double Jackpot has made his youtube career hopping on CM and having a go but is he going to take over from KD and put himself in front of the next MM or JS? No way. And I'm not putting my hand up and volunteering for this gig either so I feel I need to cut some slack to the guy who is willing to do it.Quote:

I am not expecting you to throw yourself into this whole thing -- just wanted to give the perspective that KD threatens and intimidates a lot of people who are completely innocent, and there's plenty of collateral damage from all this. On top of that, the guy is a complete phony, and falsifies the "results" of his supposed scambusting. When was the last time you saw any proof that any negative consequences on these scammers were his doing? All he does is scream into a microphone, threaten innocent people (including babies), post fake e-mails he wrote to himself, and take false credit for consequences scammers face, which is usually completely independent of anything he did.

I disagree with KD plenty and I'm not expecting any issues. I'm not saying you are at fault but you have to admit you did pour gasoline on the fire making legal threats and going to MM, if you had your time over would you do that again knowing KD escalates every conflict?

Or try asking why he posts sports picks and claims to be up "183 units" when he won't ever show proof of his own results -- again, something he routinely mocks CM for. He will delete your comment and then block you. And if he has any idea who you are, then you'll be the recipient of threats and/or public hit pieces.
Any good he has done by attacking scammers is more than negated by the terrorizing he has done to so many innocent people over the years. If you can sit anonymously in your home and laugh at the whole thing, then I suppose it can be entertaining. If you're a real person who is getting threatened and stalked, it's not such a laughing matter.

I can't explain where the $227k came from, but I'm guessing was some kind of lump sum deposit by a third party, who was dumb enough to want Chrissy to gamble for him.
Another theory I have as well as the fake check theory are very small probabilities of actually occurring. At this point since we have very limited info. None of these theories I would wager even money on, just single digit probabilities.
What I find interesting is the date he went to the ATM - February 16, 2022. Remember when he transferred bitcoin payments to his Chase Checking account, beginning many months back? The transactions were on the 14th and 15th. Chrissy posted the stolen picture of the 200k on the 15th. He was thinking about the 200k at that point. It may be possible funds hit his account on the 15th, he went down the next day and made the ATM Video.
As we know when Chrissy signs up someone with BOL he gets up to 35% of their losses for the life of their account. Since he lost his Youtube account, he knows it’s going to be difficult to drive people to that link. Maybe the discussion came up with Commission Kings and they offered to “Buy out” his accounts.

Being in a 3rd world country they could just cut him off completely. However, since they have a contract and are affiliated with BOL, they probably have to have some morals.

If it also was mid-month, we might have a clue here. Not sure what that clue would mean, and it could also be a coincidence. However, there's something going on here where Chrissy is getting abrupt, large infusions of cash/BTC, and I want to figure out what's going on.
Let’s just come to grips with this…the money is real. No question. Did he get it from gambling? No. He says that the account is all of his winnings over the past two years? Well didn’t our scamming friend stand in the median of Las Vegas Blvd at the end of 2020 and state he won a half million dollars that year? Another 14 months have gone by since then wherein he has said he averaged another 30-40K per month in some cases. So shouldn’t this account be over a million dollars by now if this is all his winnings? What happened to the other 800K? All gone to charity?
He may possibly be on a good streak right now and some of this money is from gambling. But we know that’s not it. I can’t speculate where it truly came from…but if this is all payments from the FB group, coaching, and BOL affiliate payments then there are an awful lot of dumb people out there…people who not only signed up with his link…but who keep depositing more even after they lose a few times still thinking his stuff works. Pene said clearly he never wins while gambling at home. When will that light finally go on? He has been in Chrissy’s group for two years.
There almost has to be something with the dates as well. It would be to much of a coincidence for him to have all these large sums right about the 15th of the month.

You sent the disagreement bar as "slight". I admit to being soft on KD because I'm subscribed to his youtube channel but you can't get too far up on my back for that after you were very soft on MM yourself. There's alot of people in this thread who seem to dislike KD so they can hop over and have a go.
It would be a question in bad faith because I already know the answer and as I've said, I don't have an issue with it. I don't really know anything about KD's sportsbetting to be fair.

Chrissy has said he has multiple bank accounts with Chase. However, when he was asking Prince Hussein to wire the 10 K, it was surely a different account number. Account numbers can be changed and I don’t think this proves much. But thought it was relevant. This clearly was his preferred account. I blocked out the first few digits.
IMO the money is legit. In the meaning that he has access to it. The only thing of interest is why does he show this sort of "proof" at these random and very spaced in-between times? IMO, he gets money dumps and the possibilities for them are numerous. I am also of the opinion of who really gives a fuck. He is a scammer and has been for decades he should have money or what are we doing here if he is already broke?
I can say with almost 100 percent certainty that this cash hasn't come from a gambling hot streak. Why? Because the martingale severely limits you being able to win large sums in a sort period of time. He is doing in the land base casinos exactly what he does online. $5, $10 maybe $25 starting bets and progressing from there, then quits if he has made a few hundred bucks. He ain't going in and winning 5k-10k in a session in BM.
He is also now making videos at a wildly high pace. Fun to watch. Get rid of that last YT channel and this guy will fall off the rails. He is this celebrity in his mind and YT is the only true means he can talk to "his public."
For the money. It ain't from gambling, so who gives a shit. (imo) Like i previously talked about, that creepy and weird ending was all i thought about in that video. That guy is just simply strange as fuck.
Reveals from today’s video:
1. He has no stop loss (even admits it). He pretty much admitted that he’s a degenerate that doesn’t follow his own tips and won’t quit till he “gets even”
2. When he moved to Vegas he had “6 figures” in his bank account. Now hold on a second….in the famous “Jesus was stoned to death” video, which happened before he moved to Vegas (it was shot in his apartment in Columbus) he says “yes…my wife and I are millionaires.” So if you’re bank account is “six figures” then where was the rest of it? Not invested in a house…he’s never owned one. Not invested in the stick market. Not invested in crypto (at the time).
3. There is value in having a J.O.B. You know that if you do your job you will get paid. Can’t say that with gambling. This may be the first time I’ve ever seen him actually state this on camera. Wonder if a little thought may be going through his mind (or Stacy is pushing him in that direction now that he’s struggling to get new suckers flowing in.

To a high level of certainty these are money dumps. He didn't have this 200k a week ago or probably even a few days ago. My educated guess, he isn't getting this money to casino gamble with; i am guessing a member of the inner cult has high middle class parents and he has talked them into giving Chris money to "invest" into crytpo.
I could easily see an adult child telling his parents how he has met this genius of a crytpo investor and how they need to invest in him. Crypto is pretty main stream now; but for the beginner it is still hard to understand, especially the best ways to invest--hell, I could see myself being able to talk my own parents into this. This would be my guess. Based off how Chris has been acting--almost crying when the YT channel got shut down, making videos like a mad-man, screaming at haters in the video(something in the past and especially recent past he has done a good job ignoring), stealing pictures of other people's cash and presenting it like it's his own. I don't think he does anything like this if he has 227k, especially for a person who has been almost always broke his entire life, 227k to him must feel like 227 million to someone else.
My take. But circumstantial. Point of not giving a fuck, is because it doesn't matter. Everything he has will eventually evaporate because he doesn't have any sound way of making cash. All his strategies along all aspect are -ev. He isn't wrong when he says he "gives money away"....he does, just not to the less fortunate.
We all know that CM has been pretty close to "broke" in the recent past and that this $200k hasn't been in that bank account for long, otherwise he would have showed it off long ago.
It's also safe to say that he didn't win it at the casino, why? If Chrissy would have had a huge session or multiple good sessions in quick order, we would have heard about it through his video.
We would have seen the large denomination chips, we would have seen the bricks of cash. We would have heard about he's "The Mother frickin GOAT" and how if you pay him to get his coaching/mentorship, you can do win $200k+ in the casino.
It is interesting to see that much in his bank account. That amount of money will surely raise some red flags in the banking system. Especially if it were to be wired in, and wired out in a short amount of time.
