Keep in mind that I have had just one flu shot in my life (when Ben was about to be born), and other than that, I haven't taken it, because I'm not particularly scared of the flu at this point of my life.
Also I would prefer just to take another vaccine and feel free to go out without concern, rather than having to decide what I should or shouldn't be doing. It's been really nice for the last 2 1/2 months to just do whatever the fuck I want.
i think ive had covid 3 times now lol
first time was at the start of 2020 by far the worst although ive had worse regular flu, second time i was asymptomatic and this time its probably the super scary delta variant i had muscle pain and bit of a fever for a couple nights and now 5 days from first getting symptoms im almost fully recovered
if you are in a high risk group then you should absolutely get the jab but if you are not high risk and are getting sick for a couple days off the vaccine anyway then i dont see the point
id expect we are all gonna get this at similar frequencies as we get the regular flu for the rest of our lives, people are gonna keep dying of covid same as regular flu but for the vast majority of people its no big deal vaccine or not
i really need to start the raw meat diet and sunning my balls and then i dont think i would have any symptoms lol

On a related note, we went to a local Japanese super market last weekend and EVERYONE there was wearing a mask, and probably vaccinated on top. (majority Asians, but some whiteys and Hispanics). If you go into a local State Bros I would guess under 25% of people wearing masks. I am pretty much over Covid at this point, and don't really let it affect my decision making at all, but IF I was going to be around a bunch of people of any race in public and want to minimize my chance of catching Covid, it would be Asians (and its not even really close).Quote:
