The CYDY thing seems like a scam to me. I would definitely want to see some data showing efficacy in treating very late stage HIV with a CCR5 antagonist. Seems like something that would actually be very useful very early in the disease if it worked, so seems suspicious they are going this route.

China has known about the Gilead drug for a long time. They still go into super lockdown every time there is a tiny hotspot of SARS-COV2. I can't imagine the drug is really going to be that big a game changer.
