If Stacy has left Chrissy and is in Ohio at her family's place, I think Chrissy continuing his gambling addiction will be Stacy's saving grace. If he continues gambling whatever he has left or can get his hands on it means more time she has spent away from him and therefore increasingly unlikely she will come back. Once he has nothing is when he may put more of his focus on getting her to come back rather than doing it in between casino visits (although his main focus will be getting more money hopefully with Stacy's help) making it harder and potentially more dangerous for her. As much as I want to see Chrissy lose what he has left as soon as possible, bleeding the money a bit slowly might be what saves Stacy and bubs from ever going back.
He's already concocting his next extortion scheme on the Elite Chums. Hence the sainted mother story, soon to be followed up with his next Super Duper Never Ever Loses Strategy except when other people are around a tired, hungry, drunk, distracted Kyle Prescott that got "cheated" by the Casino's!
