Patriots win the toss and defer.. That's a combination of saying fuck you to Peyton Manning and having a Marty Mornhinweg moment.
I'll take it.

Will prob have few more NFL plays up when I get lines
There is something to be said for deferring in ot. If the 1st team doesnt make a few 1st downs your not far out of fg range. If the 1st team kicks a fg you get to play 4 downs until your in fg range. I know it was weather related but its not as simple as college.
Denver -3.5 (action points)
Over 48.5 Denver KC
N.E. -8 (a.p.)
Northern Illinois has given up at least 17 points in all 11 games this year.
Western Michigan has scored at least 17 points in 7 of 11 games this year. Mich St and Iowa were two understandable exceptions.
Western Michigan TT Over 14.5 230/200
Jordan Lynch going to town tonight
321 yrds rushing so far tonight. 4th qtr just started.
He damn well better get invited to NY for the Heisman ceremony.
Chris Borland is the best linebacker in cfb by far, and he wasnt included in the top 5 for the lb award. Its a popularity contest. If you dont play for a big name school you have to be alot better then everyone else. If you put AJ Mccarren on any other team he would be an average qb.
lol
Nebraska head coach is single handedly costing the team with his playcalling and rants to the officials.
N. IL should get a BCS bid now.
#16 Fresno St just lost today
#17 LSU struggled like hell and barely won against the last place in conf, ARK
#13 Oregon up by 1 late in 4th to OR St. (they are 28pt faves)
#19 UCF up by 7 mid of 3rd to S. FL when they are 4 td faves
Cant see how they could get screwed now, unless they somehow choke in their conf champ.
I wish I got on OSU earlier but still will take them in this tomorrow.
6.5 point teaser:
Ohio State -16 (-105) (-9½)
Over 45 (-115) Florida State vs. Florida (38½)
This should be printing money and I will be surprised if it loses.
Teased Duke and IL both to +10.5
Teased FL St and OH St
took USC, SC and Stan
For having such studs on the team, its amazing that they cant find some clown to kick Field goals...
Edit:
AAAaaaaannddd, that just cost them.
I hope Bama chokes now. Fuck my bet.
OMG Auburn.. WOW what a finish! HOF
LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Sad thing is now a bunch of OSU fans are cheering thinking they are a lock for the BCS Title game when they barely won today and still have to get through MSU next week. Auburn deserves to play in that game more then OSU does.
The human polls have traditionally been very hesitant to rank a 1 loss team ahead of an undefeated team that has an even halfway decent schedule (like Notre Dame last year). The fact that OSU sneaked past a 7-4 team at the last second could make it a toss up.
REALLY need USC to cover tonight. Last team remaining in 4 parlays. 2 game, 2 game, 3 game, 4 game.
the big bet is AZ/AZ St over 31.5 at the half.
if these dont come through, gonna make a Clorox cocktail
No such thing as free money, but Vereen seems to catch 7-8 balls every week. I'd gladly pay the -130 and take the over 5.
decided to tease the Redskins to +7.5 and the over 40.5
I think all the drama this week about RG3's players not helping his ass up off the ground may have caused him to realize he is a self centered jerl who didnt give his teammates credit (took it all for himself last year), and kissed their asses all week. They may be playing for pride at home, and another loss could be a dagger in the season for them right now in the media and for RG3s career, along with their coach.
Still have Seattle -6 pending but will update record for the week and add Seattle on next week

comment to the dixers from this post. How do you misinterpret that stat to mean it's a 100/1 dog. That stat is NFL teams records if they are down by 24+ at halftime. A more meaningful stat would be NFL teams records when they are down between 21-27 points at halftime. Obviously this still wouldn't be 15/1 but a lot closer to 15/1 then to 100/1.
I keep losing so many close calls in football from late comebacks it's ridiculous but had a great weekend in college basketball.
I thought I might be screwed in fantasy this week up against Manning but he threw the ball to Decker all night who I had and he got me more points then Manning at the end with his 4 TDs. It's about damn time Decker got some action this year.
Carolina is looking great every week. I hope they continue at this pace.
I put in a bet on the giants while out yesterday. Woke up today feeling decent because I went 3 for 3 yesterday.
Log in to the book and it says I bet on the over. Fucking gay and I'm an idiot.
Anyone interested it doing a College Bowl Pick'em (Straight Picks Scoring) Pool on here? The money would be escrowed through Druff if we can get enough interest and if he agrees.
I was thinking like $20 or $10 if people think $20 is too much and the payouts would be:
10 entrants or less = 1st 100%
11-20 entrants = 1st 70%, 2nd 30%
21-30 entrants = 1st 60%, 2nd 25%, and 3rd 15%
31+ = Adjust accordingly adding a spot per 10 but I doubt we would get this many to even worry about it.
We could have the game setup to run on Yahoo:
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/bowl
Post in here if interested and if we can get close to ten a new thread could be created where more people would see this.
B&P - you can count me in for a bowl pickem.
Bigtime steam for the sea birds tonight. No idea if it's that good a bet or not but if the saints manage to cover Vegas will make a killing
I'd be in for the pick em
