Most states including Nevada are backed up on distributing unemployment. Keep in mind because of the CARES ACT the government added another $600 per week. The Maximum in Nevada is $469 per week, a for a total of $1069 per week. He can qualify by saying he made a certain amount last year in cash and that he can not work due to Covid. Remember, people who work for Cash, self employment, ect. can now qualify, just by "their word". Its that simple folks. In my state, I know 5 people personally when they finally got paid, they were paid between 14-18 weeks. Yes, $15,000 in one shot! This is very common. As long as you filed by July 31st they would let you post date your claim back to March. I have read articles, lots of fraud. Right now congress is working on a deal to extend the extra payments once again. The last extra payment ended the last week in July. The new negotiated amount will likely be between $200 and $600.

As much as I don’t want to give Brian “Dempster Fire” Dempsey any attention, my hands have once again been forced. If you remember he was doing a 30 day challenge using play money. He started $1 units and did what he called “Marty plus 1”. On day 10 he lost the 8 hands in a row and posted it. I just saw his 30 day challenge has completed. Guess what? That was his only day the Marty got him.
