The rules regarding posting full names are for members of the site, not for the general public. If you want to vent about someone in your real life who has done something to upset you, and you want to use their real name, go right ahead. The only thing I don't allow as far as that goes is posting people's addresses or other closely identifying information.Quote:

The problem here is that Pockles believes that people enjoy his presence because he's an insightful and interesting human being, not because he's this community's long-term comic relief trainwreck.
Everyone else's life here is "boring" compared to yours because they don't fuck up on a daily basis, and they also don't run to the internet to post tales of these fuckups and then justifying them as someone else's fault.
Notice that we have one common denominator to Marty's problems: There's always someone else to blame.
It's the fault of the police that he was driving drunk and they caught him.
It's the fault of the landlord that he had to move out in the middle of the night for the 20th time in a row.
It's my fault that people troll him on PFA and gargle on his nuts, because I don't enforce the rules evenly.
It's the fault of the terrible Canadians who play on Pokerstars that he doesn't own heads there on a regular basis, because they snap him off with Q-9 offsuit and bad beat him.
