McGregor is GODDING it up in is post presser.
what is a good site to go to, to watch the fights (stream or individual replay) the next day? I dont want to download anything, just watch them.
thanks
I dont think CM winning was a fluke just knocking him out by grazing his head in the perfect spot. It was a fluke ko no doubt but that doesnt mean he wouldnt have destroyed DP but will never know. Its not like he hits so much harder then everyone else DP's fought that a graze is just so powerful. He connected in the exact right spot where if you hit him there you dont have to connect well to work.
The 1st punch on the ground was illegal but they will never stop it for 1 illegal shot after a guys knocked down.
God knows Tim Kennedy would never break the rules to get an advantage.

if Big John enforced the rules here, there would have been no issue at all with Romero on his stool. This gif is happened with about 8 seconds left in the 2nd round, and is the start of the short stretch that almost ko'd Romero.

It is NOT unreasonable to chastise him, for it's his job. The only reason it was impossible is because he was not in the correct position to see it, so Tim gets away with a clearly illegal tactic to inflict near fight-ending damage.
Did Tim get fucked? Sure. I noticed the vaseline mountain as soon as it was put on, as did anyone watcing. The corner's tactic was pretty clear from the getgo, when they threw the fucking bag of ice into the cage and on Yoel. The ref and the commission did a really shitty job dealing with some obvious shit, but unfortunately, that's how our fair sport works. Rules get enforced unevenly at best, incompetently at worst.
Bump!
Since it's too late for a UFC 179 thread why not discuss it here?
Phil Davis just made Glover look like he should hang it up.
ship it to ShadyJ calling for a Davis win.
It was another big mismatch we see time and time again when a long legged wrestler with good endurance fights a power striker who is slow. The wrestler will normally prevail in the end.
With that said Davis said he wants to fight Silva so good luck dropping twenty pounds sir.
WHAT A FUCKING FIRST ROUND
Flash KO after the horn. Ref does nothing. Brazil gonna Brazil
both eyes gouged, lets get fighting now
This is a gangster ass fight
Yeah I meant two eye pokes and a nut kick.
The ref definitely is no Herb Dean and probably has a vagina.
Mendes going to need a KO to win this.
Aldo is exhausted. Mendes needs to go balls out for the ko even if it puts him in a place to get ko'd
all my English feeds seem to be stopped/down.
Anyone else?
If you're hurting
Nice fight by Mendes.
There will be a riot if Aldo doesn't win by decision.
49-46 on all cards and I agree with it. Mendes made some moves and tested Aldo at times but he couldn't follow up enough.
I agree and even if the rounds were close which I didn't feel many were those typically will go to the champ. You got to go for broke being a challenger not leaving it up to the judges and that is basic strategy 101.
Stann and Goldberg thinking it could go either way before the decision was announced is laughable.
Fox Sports 2 Press streaming in a few minutes here:

Also on UFC.com will be the post presser obv.
Agree, it wasn't going to go in Chad's favor.
Post-fight presser should also be on youtube here:

I find watching the pressers from Brazil to be almost unwatchable due to the translating thing.
That's kinda the point. They're not misrepresenting it by accident. They actually believe their fighter is ahead or it's tied & tell their fighters to play it safe & they just have to win the round to win the fight or just not get finished to win the fight & then the "controversial" split desision happens & they find out they were actually behind entering the final round. It's insane that they state with so much certainty what the score is when it's shown time & time again they have no idea how it's being scored.
I've probably only seen a handful of times where the corner told their fighter they had to finish the fight in the final round & in almost every case that was incredibly obvious & the fighter even knew that.
i think thats exactly what my point wasnt, but i dont care too much.
Roman Polanski's daughter is going to be in Vikings Season 3. Id much rather discuss that.
