Anyway, onto Day 5.

Had almost 1.5m after doubling up with QQ > AK, but then lost an AK of my own, lost another small pot, and was super card dead at an otherwise active table.

Finished with 919k. Average is close to 1.5, so I need to chip up, but I'm not desperate.

354 remain. At 351, the guaranteed money goes from $34.8k to $38.2k.

But 100% I'm cashing this thing for nearly $35k, and likely cashing for over $38k.

Obv that's not the goal, though.

Horrible table most of the day as the rec players got eliminated and replaced by tough pros. Everyone was commenting by the end how the table sucked, even by Day 4 standards.

Seems like Day 5's draw is a LOT better, though I think it's breaking fairly early:

Aside from Hachem to my left with the big stack, I love this table draw for Day 5. I would've liked it for Day 3, and been fine with it for Day 2.

My Day 4 original seatmates did not do well. Only me and Tom Cannuli made it to Day 5, and Cannuli is short stacked. Somehow I got Jerrod Smith moved to my table and he was to my left, though we didn't play any significant pots together. I've been with him nearly half the WSOP Main!

I have about 38 BB left.

Fun fact: For the first 2 hours of Day 1, I was the youngest at the table. For the last 2 hours of Day 4, I was the oldest.

Got a better shot at it than 8200 others.
