Here is (supposedly) Stephen Paddock:
https://everipedia-storage.s3-accele...ock__40872.png
He lived with Marilou Danley.
I wonder if Marilou was the woman described to have gone to the front row about 45 minutes before the shooting, telling people that "everyone's going to die".
Given that Marilou's husband is Geary Danley, who is described as a left-wing fanatic, I wonder if this whole thing was left-wing terrorism.
Even if Geary had nothing to do with this, his strong left-wing association makes you think that it's likely people associated with him (or his wife) might also be left-wing fanatics.Quote:
Geary is a fan of the The Rachel Maddow Show and liked several pages on Facebook including Thank You Obama, Anti-Trump Army, Progressive Day, Organizing for Action, Not My President, Proud to Be A Democrat, Fight Trump, Boycott All Things Trump, and Impeach Trump. Geary is a Democrat and is registered to vote in Washoe County, Nevada.
The targeting of a country music concert (a genre of music known to have a Republican-leaning fan base) would also be a good target for a deranged left-wing shooter looking to kill the "opposition".
Hi nikki
In before libtards start propagating false flag narratives after ridiculing the same narrative for the past 8 years.
Patiently waiting for the suspect to turn jet black.
This will affect Las Vegas for decades.
Stock values in Las Vegas casinos will drop dramatically.
Visitors to Las Vegas will drop immediately.
300,000+ on the Las Vegas strip for New Year's?
Don't count on it. Las Vegas police have thought for years that some nut would shoot out of his hotel room and kill people.
Concerts and conventions will be cancelled and held in other cities.
Less visitors means less employees.
Which means more people moving from Las Vegas.
Which means real estate in Vegas will become cheap.

Pretty sure this was planned.
The guy had a room at the Mandalay Bay on a high floor facing the concert across the street. I bet that particular concert was targeted, and we will find out that he was trying to kill Republicans, figuring they would be at a country concert.
Probably some bullshit about hating Trump and feeling like we are at war, blah blah.
I doubt it will end up that he was just a crazy guy who decided to fire at randoms.
I wonder how the left wing media will cover it if it turns out that the deadliest mass shooting in US history is one with their own ideology.
Brandon confirmed alive and well.
Police have recovered multiple weapons from Paddock's hotel room. The shooting has been officially declared the worst in US history
if it hasn't started yet, by this afternoon, the discussion from the left will be entirely about gun control, just as the right would be focusing on islam if the shooter was an islamic terrorist.
i have zero issues with this by the way. this may be callous, but if now -- immediately after a tragedy like this -- isn't the right time to talk political solutions to problems, i have no idea when the right time would be. this is the only time people will actually care enough to do something
From the Atlantic:
Yet despite the predictable recurrence of these crimes, Americans have developed a strong taboo against ever discussing or even thinking about them. When the killer strikes, it is “too soon.” The next day, it is “too late”; we have all moved onto the next topic. Then comes the next massacre, and it is “too soon” all over again.
Like ancient villagers, Americans accept periodic plagues as a visitation from the gods, about which nothing can or should be done. The only permitted response is “thoughts and prayers”—certainly never rational action to reduce casualties in future. Even to open the discussion as to whether something might not be done violates the taboos of decency: How dare you politicize this completely unpredictable and uncontrollable event! It is as if gun violence were inscrutable to the mind of man, utterly beyond human control.
The fact that such things do not happen anywhere else with anything approaching the same frequency—that too is the work of some ineffable mystery. Who can say why such things happen so seldom in Canada and Australia and Britain and Germany and France, and so often in the United States? Who would be rude enough even to wonder?
Is it too soon for some good ol' 'Merican gun porn?

You really believe more strict guns laws would have stopped this from happening? We should have implemented tight gun controls in this country a long time ago (100 + years ago). We didnt so the guns are here and there is no good solution from either side. The shear number of guns here prevents that. We cant roll back and become Australia or the UK.

in case this wasnt posted yet
Waiting for a Gracie Breakdown, showing us how we could have avoided this, with basic Jitz.
Looks like a right winger to me, a Ted Nugent wannabe.
I believe Paddock is a Native American last name.
According to Las Vegas channel 13 news (KTNV)...
Shooter had at least 10 guns (high powered rifles?) and 2 platforms setup to shoot from, plus he had cameras setup to see police arriving.
So yes, this shooting was setup well in advance.

i own a gun and am not in favor of banning guns generally. but i don't get why we allow assault rifles to be owned in this country, as they have the power to turn bad shootings into what we saw in vegas this weekend. the only reason assault rifles have not already been banned is the NRA is such a ridiculously powerful special interest lobby (i.e. the swamp)
make owning an assault rifle a felony with a 5-year minimum term and ownership will drop by 99.9%. nobody carries an assault rifle so there isn't a legitimate "we need to arm the good guys with the same weapons the bad guys use" defense to this
that being said, if nothing was done after sandy hook, nothing will be done in the next 75 years. thank you swamp
I own a car and am not in favor of banning cars generally. but i don't get why we allow big cars to be owned in this country, as they have the power to turn bad wrecks into what we saw in paris a few weeks ago. the only reason huge trucks have not already been banned is the need for them is such a ridiculously powerful special interest lobby (i.e. the swamp)
The good thing about boot scoots in Texas is, everyone is packin, even the ladies.
I book a flight to Naples FL for Oct 3 and it gets blasted by biggest hurricane.
Change flight to Vegas and book Excalibur - 2 hotels away.
My wife has been hounding me about which shows we might see. Looks like we will have our pick this week.
Daughter told not to go to work today in Vegas. Businesses are spooked
Kids are telling me that last weekend there was a much bigger event. The Life Is Beautiful Festival downtown Vegas
It is a music, art and speaker festival
rock, rap and indie music
Art installations and food trucks everywhere
But if you hate America, country music was the way to go I suppose
Lol, Blizarian. How many people did that midget run over on his way out if that fraud was really there
Is everyone safe. Hey Todd since you're the adult here can you take control and get a head shot.. I mean head count
the map shows the hotel on the other side of the road from the festival. going to be hard to throw events near hotels or high rises ever again. any gun experts on here? was he just randomly opening up into the crowd or aiming per person? sickening. what a diabolical shooter.
on another note, it says he lived in Mesquite. I remember that shithole, we flew to Vegas to go to Southern Utah for a daily vacation, and stopped at a Denny's in a casino hotel in Mesquite. I went to the bathroom in the casino and was literally followed in like I was going to be jumped. I turned around and exited fast. The locals were all down on your luck meth types.
BREAKING NEWS: ISIS claims responsiblity for Vegas shooting and say the gunman 'converted to Islam months ago'.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-shooting.html
Oh shit. Goodbye, Las Vegas tourism.
:boom
Watching the Left & Right both rooting hard for the shooter to have opposite political beliefs to their own, is really quite sad.
Also, have handguns if you must, but JFC stop selling automatic weapons.
Fuck the NRA
Didn't know this until about 30 mins ago. But tourism wise, Vegas is visited by more Brits per year than any other country.
We've lived with terrorism since the 70's and don't scare easily when it comes to this shit.
We shall not be moved.
Btw - I'm surprised ISIS didn't claim the credit for the recent hurricanes. It's what they do.
Tim Cook - "Please let this guy be an android user."
Definitely sad news to wake up to. Glad to see the first poster in the thread was Vegas1369. I hope all other Vegas based PFAers are safe.
