I honestly don't see what the big deal with Siri is. Just another thing Apple can throw on the phones to justify the high price tag.
Siri is also a huge data whore, which they neglect to inform you.
I can use VLINGO for all kinds of things on my Droid, but I am such a Itunes hater, it will be hard to convince me to ever go to an Iphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 has their own version of Siri called "S voice", check mate.

So yes Rollo, we can do that and more with a Droid too. For half the price.Quote:
Samsung debuted the long awaited Samsung Galaxy S3 at its "Mobile Unpacked" event that took place in London, England yesterday and also showed off the device's impressive new feature, S-Voice.
S-Voice is similar to Apple's Siri voice recognition system that comes on the iPhone 4S.
It actually does much more than Siri, according to 9to5 Google.
"It manages certain functions and is customizable with up to four wake-up commands," wrote the site. "For example, set it to respond with the phrase "Wake-up, and it will automatically unlock the smartphone's screen."
It is also integrated with applications on the phone including the one made for the camera.
You can snap a photo by saying "Hi Galaxy, picture," and then say "Cheese" and the picture will be captured. And S-Voice even allows the user to control their music.
Samsung also described the new feature in the press release for the Galaxy S3.
"The GALAXY S III features 'S Voice,' the advanced natural language user interface, to listen and respond to your words. In addition to allowing information search and basic device-user communication, S Voice presents powerful functions in regards to device control and commands," said Samsung.
"When your phone alarm goes off but you need a little extra rest, just tell the GALAXY S III "snooze." You can also use S Voice to play your favorite songs, turn the volume up or down, send text messages and emails, organize your schedules, or automatically launch the camera and capture a photo," added the company.
Samsung announced yesterday that the Galaxy S3 will be rolling out at the end of May throughout Europe.
The device also features Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and set of impressive specifications including a 4.8-inch 720p HD Super AMOLED display.
