Everyone think this shooting is justified or Murder??

This guy did society a huge favor by getting rid of these two budding young criminals. Its a shame he did it in this fashion though, now he will be sent to prison for the rest of his days and people will argue he should not have had the right to defend his property with lethal force.

These kids are the ones that broke the law here. Whether or not the old man NEEDED to do what he did I believe is immaterial. If someone breaks into your home I believe you are justified in doing whatever you can or want to do to them.

Their car was found with prescription pills that had been stolen from another home in an earlier home burglary. Wonder if the owner of that house tried to kidnap them too, but as they broke free, they found some pills on the way out. Good luck finding a jury of 12 of this guy's peers that agree to convict him.

you are allowed to protect yourself with reason.

shooting a girl (umpteen times no less) laughing at you that's already been shot and has shown is not a threat is going beyond.

as i said before:

guns are dumb and stupid people like stp and this senile old man (who honestly probably just flat out murdered them because the story makes no sense) should never have been allowed to own a gun.

I wasn't making an argument about the letter of the law. I was sharing my opinion on how I think it should be. Op asked if it was Justified and although the law may not see it that way I believe it was. And to Srsly, yes, anything.

listen, if the guy shot a lot of times in the heat of the moment i would have no problem with it. The fact is he went too far with "defense", after the first shots he knew they were no longer a threat. He should have just called the police and went outside to wait for them to collect the bodies.

btw, im all for self-defense. i would have shot the people too, but there is a line you just cant cross.
