This is very straightforward. You get a seat to a $5m freeroll put on by Club WPT Gold, and there's 2000 total entries. That's a $2500 value if you're an average player in the field.
Truthfully, if you're even a semi-competent player, you will be above average in that field, because it's mostly fish. This isn't like entering a $1500 WSOP NL event. Not even close.
There is no scam or trick here. Yes, it requires a signup to Club WPT Gold, but that does not require any money, nor do you have to put down a payment method, so there's absolutely no way you can be scammed. You're risking zero to do this.
You are also competing with relatively few people.
Srsly was tasked with giving 15 seats away, and he generously thought of the PFA community to get the first one, before opening it to the general public. That's it. I appreciate it, and you guys should too.
