This was my point to Druff regarding AI and how older people won’t be able to distinguish truth from reality. This isn’t even AI. He will write a bunch of nonsense. He’ll attempt to act like I’m blaming the demise of the auto industry on Trump, which clearly is not the case. That was in a death spiral long before Trump arrived. Only the notion he could do anything about it or cared is the funny part.

What he won’t say is I’m stupid, I was watching YouTube/Twitter, and their algorithm suggested it to me because it has me rightfully pegged as a low information loon who will believe anything, so I ran here to post it. I agree, but my post wasn’t meant to bash boomers. Fuck I’m closer to them than I am kids. Tbh, I find like the over 75 set kind of a coinflip. Some fall for it and some aren’t really that engaged. The younger boomers and my own generation is probably the worst. I’m surrounded by angry idiots I grew up with who fall for this shit just as much.

AI is going to be a real issue with even the sane elderly. Usually when you read of someone losing it all over something fake, it skews quite old.

But I’ll occasionally stumble into something where young people congregate and it’s stupid as hell also. Little less political, but there are a lot of Kyries out there with the kids falling for the dumbest shit. Particularly among minority and non-educated kids. Everyone is Illuminati and just the same crazy shit.

Social Media Scores are crazy. They can basically stop citizens from buying Apple products by tying it into the score. "The patriotic buy Chinese" then they implement score modifying based on the behavior. Very powerful. They can even do it without directly messing with imports/exports which presumably would cause issues. It is a totally novel way to coerce people. Scary shit tbh.
