Insult Dan Druff at your own risk, my goodness!
Anybody else feel a bit weird that this man is dead and this is being posted about him without any ability for him to ever share his perspective?
I’m just giving him a hard time it was an interesting story and investigation to read abot
lol this obsessive douchfuck would rather dig up my old posts than fucking pay me the money I won from his lame little fantasy league
also still haven't gotten paid from druff either so great bump buddy thanks
It's everyone though. Not just you. And I'm open about the fact that I slowpay everyone.
The freerolls are a little extra thing I do here in order to give live listeners something to play in the background. It's an antiquated holdover from the 2000s when Micon would occasionally do it. I decided to do it here nearly every week, which no other regular poker show ever did.
It's a pain in the ass to handle the payouts, so I just bear down every so often and do them in bunches. Were this a for-profit site, I would be more diilgent about getting this out quicker, but since it's not, I just do it whenever.
I will be doing it this week most likely, possibly today.
I tried to invite him at one point to come to PFA and publicly share his gripes. He turned it down, saying this site was trash and he quit it in 2015. He wouldn't say who he was here, and wasn't clear whether he had an account or just lurked. He definitely had NWP/DD accounts, but again woulnd't say who he was.
Since he wouldn't come here, I didn't want to give the guy attention on Twitter because he was obsessively hassling me, yet nobody was noticing him. So I wanted to keep it that way and not give him free attention.
Now that he's dead, obviously that's not a concern. I'd much have preferred he just showed up and hashed it out publicly, but I think deep down he knew his complaints weren't rational and he'd get clobbered here.
Forgot about this thread.
Druff, did you know poster tbuck27?
When I saw this post, he clicked in my mind. I recall him being way more active on previous sites. The main problem is it shows his last activity days after this dude died, but IÂ’m often logged in for a week when I come back to site. In his small amount of posts, he mentions being in that Shaun Deeb powerball drawing you mentioned, seems to mention Micon and that group with a familiarity. Not to read too much into the 27, half the posters were probably 27 when they found site, but the T with the 27 and being in that powerball pool. Longshot, and you may know who that poster is, but figured IÂ’d ask. I always like the forum history shit.
That would be amazing if he were tbuck27. Great catch if true.
I'm going to go with the initial read that it's a different guy, but I'm not ruling it out. I'll look at the IP info I have for him to see if anything matches.
Regardless, my history with tbuck is a little strange. I don't believe we ever met in person. If we did, I don't remember it. I do remember that when Micon and I had our falling out in 2011, tbuck oddly was VERY pro-Micon, like to the point of almost sounding like an attorney would if retained to argue Micon's side of things. This was despite the fact that I had always been nice to tbuck, and in fact at one point saved him from being banned on NWP when other mods were trying to remove him for stupid shit. Micon was apatethic about it, and I stepped up and overruled the other mods and said tbuck was staying, which in fact got them angry/resentful towards me at the time. tbuck thanked me profusely when it happened, yet was very negative about me just 2-3 years later, for no apparent reason.
After he registered on here, that seemingly died down, and he was just an occasional poster without anything too memorable occurring.
The "buck" part of his screen name would speak against him being Thomas Kasprovich/Davis, as you'd think a name like tbuck would represent "Thomas Buckley" or something like that. But maybe the buck is referring to money.
I'll look at some things and post my findings. I won't reveal tbuck's location on his IPs, but just will comment whether or not it matches this guy.

BCR you're a freaking genius.
It was tbuck27.
tbuck's last post in January 2023 had an IP which matches Thomas Kasprovich's location at the time.
And the e-mail he used to register? It contains "tkaspro" in it.
Wow.
Funny because aside from that weird situation where he was blindly defending Micon against me with nonsensical arguments, tbuck27 always seemed like a reasonable poster, and otherwise didn't seem to hate me.
He also was apparently lying about quitting PFA in 2015.
The weirdest thing? tbuck27 last logged into PFA on September 26, 2023. The obituary claims he died on September 20!
So either tbuck27's ghost logged in, his computer auto-logged in somehow when left on, or someone else going through his stuff logged in.
It is possible that whoever found him dead used his devices to see if they could reach someone close to him, to inform them, and briefly went on PFA to see what it was.
Now I'm going to have to look at tbuck27's old posts to see if they give any hint of his intense resentment toward me, which apparently was massive.
I do remember when I rescued tbuck from being banned in 2008 or 2009, he remarked privately to me that Micon was a real life friend of his, and he was "really disappointed" that Micon didn't have his back. I wonder if that was also a lie.
Anyway, tbuck27 went from nondescript NWP/DD/PFA poster to binoculars ATM thief and Dan Druff Twitter stalker. Who knew?
I read some of tbuck's posts. Seems like it was mainly the politics which slowly turned him especially against me.
Though look at this creepy post from 2015, where he remembered the date (including the year) I lost my virginity, and congratulated me on the anniversary of it.
Dude’s been dead months and has me reading his posts. I searched his name and saw he posted in a few long threads I wasn’t about to dig through, but saw a post of yours about that Ausmus dude. I seemed to recall that dude being friends with that Micon/Reggiman crew. That he chose to weigh in felt right. Then saw the powerball thread and just thought the t and 27 felt like a decent shot given it appears only 200 people entered pool.
Glad we solved it. Now I want to know if he’s the one that had Racine listed as his location on DD or NWP.
Assist to BB. Him finding that 2+2 post is what made it click for me.
He can rest in peace knowing he got an extra few months of trolling in.
One odd thing is how he didn't post in the Lafay thread at all. His last post here, in fact, was BEFORE all of that controversy started.
It's possibly because he didn't want to accidentally out who he was on Twitter. Clearly he could have told me he was tbuck27 if he wanted me to know that, but instead he was being both evasive and dishonest regarding his identity.
But you'd think if my speaking out against Jami enraged him so much, he'd have made at least one post about it here. He definitely had plenty of time to harass me on Twitter, including in DMs, about the matter.
I do wish I could go back in time and tell myself NOT to interfere with the tbuck27 banning in 2008/09. Had I just sat back and ignored it like Micon did, tbuck likely would have gone away, and that would have been that. Instead, my immediate restoral of his access (which also harmed my relationship with the other mods) enabled him to remain in the community, and eventually led to the psychotic behavior I got from him last year.
It seems like he was a very overweight, very lonely guy who developed some kind of obsession over the years with both me and Micon. However, with Micon it turned to admiration for the bitcoin stuff, and with me it turned into resentment. Very strange.
I have mixed emotions regarding this discovery of his PFA identity. One part of me is happy this mystery was solved. The other part of me is disturbed that a longtime member of this community, who seemed pretty much like a non-factor for the most part, turned out to have such intense resentment against me for no apparent reason.
Yes, excellent catch.
His interest in the Ausmus thing might be related to remembering Ausmus appearing on DD Radio at one point.
BTW, I've always gotten along with Ausmus. In fact, he occasionally listens to PFA Radio, and has commented to me privately about things he's heard. Nice guy, and I was happy to see his recent success. For many years after his WSOP score, he reverted to being a mid-stakes grinder, before finally blowing up huge.
Maybe that was his subtle way of making fun of you? Notwithstanding anything else he ever said/posted, on here or off of here, I'd probably have poked a little fun at you had I been aware of this.
Other than people who lose their virginity on their wedding night, or something, how the hell would anyone ever remember the date they lost their virginity? I remember that I lost mine in either July, or August, when I was 14. I guess that would have been 1998? I can't imagine that I'd have remembered the precise date had you asked me the following month.
