FTR I live in LA about a mile from the beach. It's between 70-80 year round and yes I own one of those 800k houses that are only worth 200k. I was in FL about a month ago and got bit by so many bugs I was literally going insane. There were times I felt like I was in a third world country to be honest.

I never realized Vegas was a state. Thanks for enlightening me. I always thought it was a city in Nevada.

And yes, I do think Vegas is a better place to live than FL based on the fact that I have lived in both places. In fact, since living in Vegas I have had two job offers to move to south FL to manage nightclubs down there and have turned both offers down. Also, when I first moved here I had the option of going to Tampa or Vegas as the company I was working for was opening restaurants in both locations. Obv you know where I chose, and thank God I did, the restaurant in Tampa failed miserably, and all the transfers that moved there that I know all hated it.

I doubt you have ever even been outside of the strip, that is if you've ever even visited Vegas. You're just saying the things you are saying with no actual life experience, just like you are saying all this other stuff like it's fact, when in reality it's just your opinion, and a biased opinion at that. No, I said I have been going there since the 70's. My grandparents moved to Deerfield in 1975, long before it was the crowded clusterfuck it is today. I used to go there at least 3 times a year, and also have relatives all the way from Lakeland to Miami, and a lot of places in between.

Read again, I said I LIVED in FL in the early 90's. Tallahassee, Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale. I was also in a heavy metal band that toured all over FL. Some of the best years of my life actually. I also got more hot southern ass in that time period than any other 3 year stretch of my life. I will admit, southern women are the best IMO, and the Latina women in S FL are ridiculously hot and fun.

Don't get me wrong, I like FL, and love to visit there. I just wouldn't want to live there again, and prefer Vegas weather to FL weather. But, this was really supposed to be about FL vs CA, which IMO, as well as many others, including actual research done on the subject, CA trumps FL, and it's not really close.

And yes, downtown Vegas is awful, but also easily avoidable.
