I get what you are saying and all, but honestly, i am not surprised he is making moves like this. So (depending on the viewpoint) perhaps he lied; It isn't surprising to me and I knew he wasn't going to put outsiders in the WH from the first time he mentioned it.
And IMO it really doesn't make sense to hire inexperienced people.
The guy is very experienced and frankly I think he's a good pick. I think it speaks volumes that he wants to surround himself with intelligent people to get shit done.
I mean, honestly, if you were running a huge business, would you hire a bunch of know nothings or would you surround yourself with intelligent, skilled and experienced staff in your management team? I've run a little business myself and id choose the latter all day long.
