worth noting that india and thailand dont have a lot of air conditioning in the wild.
how many american markets, movie theaters, mass transit systems seriously get above 74 degrees like ever?

Thousands walked in. Would have been nice to nab a few thousand by March 4?
Your screening process was laughable. You even filled airports with people while waiting 4 hours plus to be screened.... in the end most just walked straight past.
50,000 tests on the front end might have saved more then you think, and it would not have spread so fast.
Isn't it plausible you could have traced a high percentage that came through too?
100% you should have had lots of tests by early Feb. The Chinese warned you properly end of January, gave you enough data to make a test immediately. You wasted a month here, I think it was a valuable month to lose.
White people are wild
I went outside today, and holyshit, there are tons of people out there. It looks like a normal day. SO FUCKING WEIRD.
Everyone has a mask, like everyone. 100 people i passed by and they all had one. Except for me though.
If you believe the Russia investigation and Impeachment were hoaxes, why wouldn't you interpret this as the virus being a hoax?
Why do you think he said in Feb there were only 16 cases (when there was actually 50 or 60) and that number would go down to 2 and then zero very soon? (This was 30 days before we passed the 100k mark).
1- Delta American and United had all stopped travel to China.
2- He really likes bans.
3- All of his advisors recommended the ban.
There were reports that the CDC had an initial fuck up due to contamination that delayed testing. Still not sure how many extra deaths this resulted in. I told you anyone with minor symptoms was quarantining anyway and told to act as if they had tested positive. There's no cure and basically no treatment so it's not like if you knew you were positive you could go to a hospital and they would save you.
It's easy to look back and say we should have done this or that but almost no one was truly scared of this in January (Atine excluded). Hell I still went to a concert in late February and was playing pickup basketball in early-mid March. Even Dr. Fauci wasn't concerned in January. Pelosi was parading around with a crowd in San Francisco in late February saying everything is perfectly safe and to come join her.
Let's look at the hypothetical situation that everything was done absolutely perfectly say in January and almost no one died. What do you think would have happen in this scenario? There would have been people all over the country saying it was a hoax and pressuring to open the country back up. So we would be currently open and the spread would probably hit us even harder because closing the country down again after everyone is convinced it's a hoax would be even more difficult.
I just don't think there was a good solution here given the number of people that are asymptomatic, there's no vaccine and the USA culture in general. Throw any other administration in there and you wouldn't have a lower body count.
This is another stupid argument, that will only work on people that were voting for him anyway.
Parsing words at best, & they know it. Bottom line Fox "news" viewers took it less seriously.
and lol at the #FireFauci movement.
If Trump ONLY had 40% approval, (more like 45),
that would mean 4 out of every 5 Trump fans couldn't hit the 'Fauci is more of a liar than Trump' button.
Proof that Tgull is truly on the fringe, the 8%.

Heads up Druff, when people embed tweets the quote formatting gets messed up and the reply appears inside the original.
Uh, oh. My company told us over the satellite messaging system that some of our drivers have tested positive for the coronavirus. Perhaps I should step up my face-covering game. The selection at trucks stops, however, is rather limited.
"He really likes bans"? What?
Trump likes to use the term "hoax" to mean "something the Democrats are doing to me which is unfair and dishonest".
The Russia investigation wasn't a "hoax". It was overblown and much ado about nothing, but not a hoax.
The impeachment wasn't a hoax. It wasn't justified and they exaggerated the seriousness of the charges, but it wasn't a hoax.
Jussie Smollett's attack was a hoax. The Russian investigation and impeachment were not. Trump just likes using that word because it makes the Democrats look more dishonest.
Actually even this question proves my point. If Trump thought the virus was truly a hoax, he would say that there were zero real cases, and that this wasn't real. Clearly he didn't think it was a hoax, but rather that it was a real thing which would resolve quickly on its own (which obviously was incorrect).Quote:
