I have contacted Johnny Sep and asked him for proof of the payment. He said he has a photocopy of the check he sent. I told him this wasn't good enough. He needs to show me a cancelled check that was cashed by the foundation. This is something he could easily get from the bank.

Furthermore, I have reached out to the president at the foundation. I will be e-mailing the executive board of the foundation today to investigate the bank statements to see if the money came.

To be fair, you were dismissed as a tilted ex friend a year ago.

Like we all said, you made your point, you were right all along and its over.

Jasep seems like a decent dude. What I see is a guy whose back is up against the wall. Hopefully he gets his act together. At the end of the day people paid a BAP and they lost. Not sure what the scandal is. To Hershiesers point, he was basically begging for cash and a few suckers spotted him.

He owed me $600. He told me he would "rather" put it into his BAP than owe me the money. I gave him an option.

More importantly, He told myself and Kevin that he had the $600 to put in and stated clearly that "HE WOULD BE PLAYING WITH A 5K STARTING ROLL"

I realize it was a mistake to not either insist he post my contribution or post it myself. Bad judgment on my part, but 100% no malice. I lost 1k prop betting with Kevin, while his friend Jasep was freerolling me. I had no angle in this.

It was posted earlier that some believed Jasep not to be a scammer, or have premeditated this ala PeterDC, but I disagree. Maybe this BAP was in his eyes a short term loan. Maybe he planned on being able to pay people back after paying other debts or he thought he could "borrow money, run it up" etc to make things right.

The fact till remains... HE LIED TO MYSELF AND CHINA GOING INTO A BUSINESS VENTURE. I have been informed our sponsor was paying $3600 a year to VPR and that he orchestrated a situation in which he kept us from being aware of it. He sold shares for cash that weren't rightfully his, etc etc. This is something that was PREMEDITATED going in and to me invalidates all excuses "that he is just a guy who got in over his head, had intentions of making things right etc"

Again, I fully admit I fucked up by not making it clear that the $600 was money he owed me. But I swear there was no malice on my part to mislead anyone or have my name involved to vouch for him or help him gain credibility to help him steal for others. Again, I am truly sorry this occurred.

I promise you all one thing. Jasep is different from PeterDC. He has roots. He can't run. We know too much about him. I will pressure him, I will make sure that this never disappears off the radar his entire life until he makes restitution.

I and others will make sure this impacts his real life until he realizes he has no other choice but to get a job, contact all involved and make payment arrangements.

This is what really surprised me about this whole thing when all the news broke at once. With all of the information known about him, and the places and people around him, where can Jasep expect to go? Even a jail sentence can't insulate him forever from those he screwed over.

I agree, but he was trying to make it look like he just turned off his computer and "checked out" for awhile, trying to avoid the negativity and trying to get everything in order to prove his innocence.

He kinda mentioned that in one of the e-mails he sent yesterday.

The brief appearance of his IP at around 6pm yesterday was likely an accident.

Do you have the ability to go back a few days or so to see what other IPs he's logged in or posted from so you can see a trend if he's not on a wifi network and just using his phones over the air internet?

He is living with his Gf now. He told me early Dec, he moved out of his place to "live with her to save money"I believe there was never any intent for him to leave his gf to begin with. She has an income, a home, a car (which he doen't have) and is in all likelihood supporting him.

His brother, mother, father, all live in the same city (or relatively close). He has (and if this is inappropriate to post, then delete) a daughter that he has partial custody of which I do believe he loves and cares for very much.

Fleeing is not a option I find likely.

If he's on a Wifi, I would have caught it with the same IP (unless it's a Wifi somewhere else).

I am not sure if Vbulletin logs each IP of someone logging in every time. Still, most times people browse from their phone, they are just lurking. Even if they're not, the IP isn't particularly meaningful.
