Not rooting for Seattle but do have them dialed in to win.

Percy Harvin ruled OUT for the game against SF due to concussion.
I dont understand the entire Percy Harvin thing? How was he allowed back in the game? Clearly the concussion happened in the first half. Don't they have rules that you cant play with one? Yet, this dude played the rest of the game IIRC. please correct me if I am wrong.
All of a sudden after the game they say concussion? Did he get one during the post game prayer?
Sounds shady to me that he was allowed back on the field after that first hit.
He was hit hard twice. This is the hit you are talking about...
http://b-i.forbesimg.com/dandiamond/.../harvinhit.gif
He went to the sideline after this and passed all the concussion tests.
He then went back out on the field and was hit again in the endzone...
http://tireball.com/uploads/harvinhit.gif
That is the hit that sent him out of the game.
to me his head is barley touched in that last hit, doesnt even look like it would hurt without a helmet
Slow motion sometimes tends to make hits look a little less dramatic. Same thing sometimes happens in boxing and MMA, where it looks like just a glancing blow, but in real time it was very damaging.
That said I would say his bell was rung pretty heavily after that first hit, and was already somewhat woozy, and that second hit was just the nail in the coffin. I was pretty surprised he passed the first round of concussion tests, that first hit was definitely much worse than the second.
Agreed, dude was fined 21k today for the hit.
Tough break for Harvin, it's tough to come in cold after sitting out most of the season. It's unbelievable how much his presence opens up the offense for the Hawks.
With any luck he'll be available in 2 weeks. That could be quite a story when it's all said and done.
The 49ers have lost eight of their last 11 games in Seattle.
In those eight wins by the Seahawks, the average score is 30.1 - 7.6.....Yes, that's right.
In Seattle's last eight home wins against San Francisco, they've won by an average of 22.5 points. In that time, they've shut out the 49ers twice (2004, 2007), and they've held them to six points or less three other times (2005, 2010, 2013).
The three times that San Francisco has managed to pull off the upset in Seattle, they've won by an average of 25.3 - 20.3. (If you're keeping track at home, that means that the Seahawks have scored 61 points in those three home losses, which is the same number of points as what San Francisco scored in Seattle over their eight losses.)
So if the Seahawks win, it could get out of hand early, and if the 49ers win, it could very well mean that at least we had a shot at it. And I'd much rather have a shot at it than lose by 22.5 points. Imagine the outcry if San Francisco starts losing by fractions.
A Seattle win over the Niners hasn't been close since Olindo Mare kicked us to a 20-17 win on the final play of a December 6, 2009 game.
Percy Harvin is a pussy. If they get to the bowl and he is back O/U is 3.5 series played
i think the margin of victory depends on how aggressive seattle will play on offense. you know their defense will be stout..and you know kap shouldn't be able to throw that much..not that he does anyway. if seattle can get out to an early lead, it could be lights out. if gore can't run then the ball is in kap's hands against this pass defense on the road...need i say this could get ugly...and historically it has.
SF will be playing not to lose the game. and hoping their defense will rise to the occasion once again....
SF struggles against QBs like wilson. his scrambling and passing on the run presents all kinds of problems for them, and their defense can be beaten by this type of QB...thing is, seattle has 2nd rate receivers, and they to themselves have been play boring ball control defensive football..but being at home, they should be able to open it up more...if they want to.
It's impossible to describe just how fantastic this week has been in the great NW. Literally everyone in the region was wearing a jersey for Blue Friday today, and in many ways it even eclipses '05 in the fanaticism show in this week leading up to the Championship game.
There has been much written about the 12th man the last couple of weeks, and I think those of you on board who have been here a while and seen me live and fucking die with this team have a bit of extra insight that most others don't.
The Seahawks are part of our DNA here, and it's fucking glorious.

what is this guy going to do.
It's impossible to describe just how nauseating this week has been in the great NW. In our DNA? HAHAHA! You need to come back to fucking earth. The only thing in Seattles DNA is blowing it when it counts. Seattle hasn't won shit. So get Pete Carrolls balls out of your throat. They lost their NBA team, and their MLB team is a joke that would have left had Griffey not kept enough people in the stands to get Safeco field built. So it isn't as much that they are in peoples DNA here, it's that they have no other fucking options at this point.
Yeah, every asshole in Washington is all of a sudden a Seahawks fan. As soon as they aren't sucking hind tit anymore. Nauseating. If you can't name 3 players on the team, you shouldn't be allowed into the stadium, and shouldn't be allowed to pretend you are a fan. This doesn't include you, but I hate seeing fat supermarket checkers wearing Hasselfag or fucking Joey Galloway jerseys asking me if I am excited about the game. Yeah, sorry you nasty old blue haired hag, I am not talking football with a fat old bag of shit who hasn't seen a game in 10 years, and doesn't know one player on the team.
I am just thankful that I hate Harbaugh almost as much as bandwagon Seahawk fans. I can't lose. I either get to enjoy Harbaugh losing, or Seattle fans losing. Seattle losing would be sooooooooo fucking sweet. Go SF! Whole thing seems fucking rigged anyway. Brady and Manning one last time in the AFC? Two up and coming QBs and fan bases that hate each other in the NFC? Should sell lots of ads. Don't be shocked to see multiple questionable calls in the AFC title game and SB to help Manning get his second ring.
Still can't wait for your perennial "we'll get em next year" post.
Still a puppet on a string, but at least you posted before the game...
I know you're HATING this week, which amuses me greatly, but it's nice to have your grumpy, curmudgeonly, miserable ass back even if it's just for a cameo.
You don't get it, and you never will.
Now the night of the game
You may feel a slight sting, that's pride fuckin wit ya.
Fuck pride!
Pride only hurts, it never helps.
Fight through that shit.

Anal H please, for old time's sake, as a favor to your buddy, pick the 49ers tomorrow.
I am picking the 49ers. They've won 8 straight, including their last two playoff games at GB and at CAR. Wilson and Seattle have been sputtering lately. Especially Wilson. They picked the wrong time to start to struggle to score points. Kaepernick has played like absolute trash the last two times he has come to Seattle. Two of the worst games of his career. It's not gonna happen again. Lynch didn't go over 100 yds in either of the two reg season games. Crabtree and Boldin are stallions. Gore will get what's his. I think if these two teams played 100 times, SF would win 53 of them. SF is hot right now. SEA isn't. Tough shit T bags.
In the end, I think the AFC team will win the SB. Manning/Brady winning one more is such a better story than Wilson/Kaepernick winning their first.
And to be clear, I have no problem with the Seahawks. I hate their fans. I will be happy for the Seahawks if they win. It's just psychos like you who claim they are in your DNA that make my piss boil. This 12th man bullshit just makes it fucking worse. It's like you people think you are actually on the team. You aren't. I've never seen fans of a franchise with such a laughable history talk so much trash. The Seahawks as a franchise are a joke compared to the 49ers as a franchise. Until they actually fucking win something, Seattle fans should just STFU. Nobody gives a shit about how loud your stadium is when you shit the bed every fucking January. If Seattle wins the SB, talk shit. But until they stop Romo'ing games away in the postseason, please, STFU.
Part of his problem that game was, he spent so much time running his mouth, that NO was clearly going to put the full hurt on him any chance they got. He was clearly punch drunk on the first hit, and the second one, well the mouth piece being left on the field says it all. Harvin is quite a big mouth, for that little body among-st grown men.
As far as today goes, my non expert prognostication...
The Seattle offense is often anemic, San Francisco Offense has gotten more healthy and balanced recently, edge 49ers.
The Defenses are very comparable. Although on paper the Sea D looks better, except this is a 1 game sample so you can roll that up and throw it in the trash. The problem Seattle will have is getting behind 2 scores or more, because they are not a team built to score in bunchs. The 49ers otoh can score in bunchs. Again edge 49ers.
I really think the game ends up semi low scoring like 28-24 San Fran, but is ultimately a great game. As a die hard football fan, I just hope the game is competitive and exciting to watch. Two deserving teams, two great rivalries, one more-so than the other. Really all you could ask for as a fan of football at this point in the season.
San Fran wins a close game in semi controlling fashion. Seeing as the 49ers are a 3 to 3.5 underdog they make for a great play, assuming you can get the 3.5. Not that I am a betting man, but a wise man once told me, you have to pick your spots correctly and consistently. The 49ers seem to be a great value play here.
Good luck Mr. Bagadonuts, Seahawk nation, this is your time to shine,, what it all comes down too, the whole enchilada!
Seriously? You need to check his history. How many guys have you heard about in the nfl that miss games for migraines? Believe it or not he has a history of missing games before the concussion.
Fuck thanks for this post I just wiki him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percy_Harvin.
Its fuckin laughable check his injury history even in college. Missed a game for a sinus infection...lol Read this and then argue about his heart. I only knew about all the bs injuries he had in Minnesota and his horrible attitude. Not listening to coaches. Now I know it actually went back to High School getting suspended all the time.
I cant believe Schneider pulled the plug on this trade after reading all this.
When did you ever see Harvin run his mouth? He could barely speak after one of the first plays.
You are one of those people that always thinks he has some type of inside info, or detailed description of what really happened.
You don't. you're just another idiot that sees the same thing we all do on TV and try to make up your own calculated conclusions.
You do it in every single thread, with every single topic.
It's annoying and you're wrong 99% of the time. When that one percent hits you feel like a king, and that's what keeps your heartbeat ticking in your life or else you would've ended it years ago
My post on Niners Nation earlier.
Message to Niners Nation
Real talk. I was at the game today, and the fact is that the Niners and their fan handled themselves with class. The Hawk's fans did as well, and there were no beefs in our section, and really one a very minor dust up on our way into the building.
I actually hugged a distraught Niner fan on the way out of the stadium. The poor guy was geared up and alone, and he was real gentleman and offered a sincere congratulations through somewhat clinched teeth and moist eyes.
Although we have a lot of football based animosity, I personally love the city of San Fran and I know people down there typically feel the same way about the NW.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6Sxv-sUYtM
The game wasn't nearly as chippy as most of us thought it would be, just a hard fought contest between the two best teams in the NFL, and I feel fortunate that we escaped with a victory.
Cheers to you Niners Nation, at least one die hard Seahawk fan feels like you and your team represented yourself very well today.
When did Tim Donaghy become a ref for the NFL? Terrible.
2 more weeks of this 12th man shit? Ugghhhh.
At least I got to see Harfag lose. What's with the timeouts at the end of the game asshole?
Richard Sherman is the perfect example of the phrase, "you can take the n-word out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the n-word." Yeah you loud mouthed ape, you made a nice play. Really the only play you made all night. Show some fucking professionalism to the fans and your colleagues. You aren't working with Lateshka and Jamal at Roscoes Waffle House. You're in the NFC Championship game on National television. Leave your tired "Mr. Angry n-word" act in Compton.
Lol @ Colin Kaepernick. He's gonna learn the hard way that you don't get chances like these every year. Just ask Dan Marino.
Have fun playing the NFL's version of Rain Man on a neutral field Seacocks. Another thing to remember. The Seafags got hosed against the Steelers in the SB so Bettis could gallop off into the sunset. Now it's Mannings turn. GL with that.
I'll let Tony Jr. handle this one, live from the NFC Championship victory celebration at Century Link Field.

Your a fool obv, I watched CLOSELY, Harvin was beeking non stop from end of play to huddle that game, they showed it numerous times. And if you think that is nottrue big shot, go to my threads, and substantiate that I am wrong 99% of the time, I dare you too.
You cant because you are full of shit here, and this was an obvious response. I shoot from the hip fool, regardless of whether people like what I have to say, want to hear it or not. I tell it how it is, of course sometimes it can be off, except in this case I am correct.
Not going to derail Tonys thread, but your a fumbfk if you think I dont know sports, and just come in a thread like this and beek. Careful, big shot!
Mr. Bagadonuts will you be going to New Jersey for the Super Bowl?
