totally wrong Druff. Silver gave trump better odds than anyone else. He took major flack for putting trump at 33%. He got into a major publicized fight with huffington post because of it. All other pundits had trump way lower. Also florida was tossup with near even polling. Not a sure thing for anyone. Even now too close to call.

Yes but I think he was right in the "even a broken clock is right twice a day" sort of way.

He misfired on a lot, but also left himself an out in that he left a much wider path for what could happen in this election than most.

It's not like he saw it coming that Trump would be competitive in MI and WI. Not saying that anyone did, but everything I saw from Silver (aside from giving Trump more of a shot than others) seemed out of touch, and much didn't come to pass as he predicted.
