In addition to Chrissy getting more views per video, he is also posting more videos.

Just a guess here, I would think his monthly average for the number of videos he had posted would be around 15 per month over the last 2 years. The month of October he posted 28 videos. “Watch time” is also a factor. I think a lot of his believers will watch the entire video which helps his revenue. My guess is he continues the trend of posting virtually a video a day or “monthly type challenges” to justify posting a video each day and to get people to follow along.

Social blade is nice for seeing increases is subscriber and view counts, but as far as revenue, I think it’s just to far off. There are many YouTube creators that break down their analytics and show exactly what they earn each month. You can search “How much I made from YouTube” and compare their actual numbers to what Social Blade shows. Many times it’s off by 1,000% or more.

Chrissy's video is an arrogant swipe at those who laughed at his loss.

Basically he's trying to tell everyone that he posted a losing video in order to increase his YouTube views, which in turn make him money.

I don't believe those 6300 views on his losing video are real. While I'd believe that a losing video would get more views than a winning video, this wouldn't occur instantly unless it was posted somewhere like Reddit and a lot of new people clicked through to see it. Perhaps that's what happened, but perhaps he also bought views in an attempt to save face.

I don't have a monetized YouTube channel, so I can't say exactly how "estimated revenue" works. It's possible that it's simply doing a calculation based upon views and viewing time, and his actual revenue will be much less due to viewbotting. But it's also possible that it's really keeping a running tab on ads shown to viewers, and that it's close to accurate. When I heavily researched YouTube over the past 2 months, I didn't bother learning about monetization, because that's not relevant for what we're trying to accomplish here.

You might recall that I talked to my NoCal friend about the difficulty in getting channels removed, and he told me that large channels are much more difficult to remove than small channels. One of the reasons for this is monetization. YouTube does not want to remove something which is generating money for them!

If Chrissy really is making $3600/month, that means YouTube is making close to that, as they take 45% (so presumably, the channel is making a little less than $7k, with Chrissy getting $3600).

The potential problem here is that YouTube will be tougher about removing Chrissy's channel if he's really making that much on a regular basis. It's possible October was an outlier because he posted far more videos than normal. But even if the channel generates $1k/month for YouTube, they're it's going to be harder to take down than a non-monetized or very lightly monetized channel. The way my friend explained, YouTube basically makes a decision in each case whether the hassle the channel causes is worth the revenue it's bringing in. If it isn't, they're much more likely to terminate it (but clear ToS violations are still needed to get that done).

I do have an idea, though, which I won't put out here for obvious reasons.

Speaking of lawsuits, if you are reading this and were a victim of Chrissy's in the past 3 years, please post here or contact me.

This is the time to strike. He has money and is collectable at the moment (there are ways to do this, even if he tries to hide assets).

You can easily beat him in court. You do not need an attorney, and don't need to be in Nevada. You just need to travel to Nevada one time.

You can only sue him if he actually caused you monetary damages -- meaning you had to pay him for services. If you are simply a viewer of his channel who hates him, or if you stupidly followed his system but didn't pay him for coaching, you can't successfully sue him.

I know this doesn't apply to most people here, but if you were a victim of his, please let me know and I'll guide you what to do. It's far easier than you think.

That’s how much revenue the channel brought in. He doesn’t get all of that. As I’ve always understood YouTube you only get 40% of the revenue…which based on the number we saw is just under $1600. That means he is making potentially $20K per year off his channel…a far cry from the half million he claims to have made across the past 2.5 years. Even if I’m wrong about the 40% part and he somehow gets the entire 4K that’s still nowhere near a half million in 2.5 years.

But of course none of this matters. He is personal friends with Tom Brady and they make pacts on the phone to lose together on the same day. Oh good grief (and even though even Chrissy isn’t trying to sell that story as being real how much you want to bet many of his uneducated viewers think he’s telling a true story).

@PV the number he sees in the analytics would appear to be before YouTube’s cut. SocialBlade is showing the channel as paying about $50 per day (which would equal the $1500 per month that I’m estimating he is making at present pace). But again…this appears to be just based on the past month. Going back over time he’s been nowhere near this rate (which makes sense given he’s got 27K “subscribers” now)

As a former Youtube partner, you're wrong. The revenue you see from analytics or adsense is always post-youtube cut.

I think some of that money might have been from youtube membership purcahsed though. You can pay $1000 through channel membership to join the inner circle for example.

He left the World Series (that he supposedly paid $3k for the ticket, and had dreamed about attending his whole life) in the 8th inning. The score was 6-1 in the top of the 8th. Aren’t the best games the huge comebacks and rallies in the late innings? You KNOW he bet big on Houston that game since they were the favorite (-125). He said he feels embarrassed for the city of Houston because the Astros didn’t show up. He said he’ll be back the next day to watch game 2, which implied he would be attending game 2, which was a lie.

One thing he did say that was true, was that it was his first ever World Series. (We all know he’s never been to the little league World Series).

He didn’t say anything about betting on game 1 as far as I remember, but he sure claimed to win big betting on game 2, along with his circle jerkers.

Speaking of the inner circle jerkers, he’s already pimping his January birthday bash, sponsored by Colt Studios. He’s not calling it a bootcamp this time, which is smart since he has nothing to teach these simps.

Jack made a pretty good video explaining his demeanor and actions in Houston indicating he lost big on the game, hence leaving early. Even if he did pay 3000 for the trip to the game including hotel, airfare, etc. It would be worth staying until the end to catch a fly ball or even get an outfielder to throw you a game ball or piece of his gear!
