There are plenty of websites fans can purchase tickets on, like StubHub or Craigslist, and not have to worry about being blocked. Obviously, the Seahawks do not want to be responsible for selling thousands of tickets to 49ers fans, but they cannot prevent them from obtaining seats in their stadium.
However, it is still a great effort to make sure the 12th man does not have to sit next to a 49ers fan.

Good call Tony on the 23-15 victory as you were only 2 points off. Still Russell can't throw 3 interceptions and expect to win next week. As of now 3 points sounds right again however. Wanted the Saints to win but Brees hasn't been right for a month.

Surprised the Pats won by such a large margin but their running game blew out the Colts.
S.F. over Carolina wasn't expected by that margin also. Fig Newton however I consider worthless.
Denver over San Diego I would have thought a much more lopsided victory by the Broncos.
Still on pace for the Seattle-Denver Super Bowl where it'll take an act of God for the Seahawks to win.

Matt Hasselback is their leading passer. Gb fans know him as their backup qb and also throwing that great pick 6 in ot. He was right but the wrong team scored.

WTF are you babbling about? Green Bay wasn't always a powerhouse as you've so eloquently stated. Since Favre arrived they've been no worse than a decent team with a chance to make the playoffs but far from SB favorites every year. They had 20+ years of futility before that.

You can't see all of the years in the screenshot but from 1968 to 1992 they made the playoffs twice and one of those years was 1982 which had a shortened season due to the strike. Their best record was 10-6 in that whole span.

My observation has been that the best fans are often inversely correlated to the success of the team. Eagles fans offer a good example. To borrow from baseball. Cubs fans are the poster child for this argument. Red Sox fans prior to the 2004.
There are prolly other factors that are more difficult to spot. Lack of success in the regions other sports maybe?
A great set of personalities that hook the fans?
Success kills the suspense and drama.
If Seattle binks it will be interesting to see how rabid they remain.
