That’s sacrilege
No comparison
You see Freeman motor out a triple earlier?

wow what an ending.... the verdugo catch and that instantly becomes irrelevant with the freeman bomb lol
That’s just the first game too. Series is gonna be epic
WOW!!!
Totally retarded to have walked the bases loaded when it's 1st and 2nd with 2 outs, but still.... WOW
At first I was annoyed that Lux had tripped going to 3rd, because he would've scored on Ohtani's foul out.
But wow.
What a game.
Aaron Boone fucked up. The walk was dumb, and using Nestor Cortes with the bad elbow was dumb. For once the Dodgers get the benefit of bad managing, rather than the other way around.
What a finish. Congrats Druff. Nothing better than being down to last out.
Freeman has been in such a drought. Talk about removing all pressure regardless of what happens going forward. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him get hot now.
holy shit, using someone else's play i had over 9 +100 bc 8.5 was gone and this guy has been good. lolwow,..
I was there. It was one hell of a game. Loudest I’ve ever heard Dodger Stadium when Freeman hit that bomb.
Another good game, bases loaded in the 9th…alas he flies out.
Dave Roberts claiming that Shohei will be back in the lineup on Monday.
I'm skeptical. He had a dislocated shoulder.
Fortunately the Dodgers are up 2-0, so they just need to win 2 games without him. Keep in mind that, if he returns, he might be shell of himself, and it might be better he just stays out.
Aaron Judge has been dreadful. 6 strikeouts over two games. He just looks lost right now. Amazing that it's the same guy who hit 58 bombs and .322 in the regular season.
Yamamoto's contract looking a little less stupid right now.
This might finally be it. The Dodgers might finally win a full season championship in my adult life. However, the last two World Series between these two teams also started 2-0, and the team down 0-2 ended up winning 4 straight.
If the Dodgers win game 3, it's ova.
Dodgers will be heading back to LA tied 2-2 and deciding if they should risk Ohtani's shoulder.
Shohei is super human, and it’s the World Series, but I’ll be shocked if he plays in next few games. I’ll be surprised if he plays in less than a week assuming no tear .
danggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
Notes so far:
1) Buehler looks good. Or maybe because anyone would against the slumping Yankees.
2) Freddie Freeman is a World Series monster
3) Aaron Judge continues to look like an automatic out
That home plate ump missed plenty of close pitches in crucial at bats but at least it went both ways.
I seriously thought the Yankees would wake up and make this a series.
Stanton is the only consistent hitter right now.
We went down swinging for what might be the last game of year. Yankees -1.5/Soto 0.5 boosted to +350 ish. Forget exact number.
Maybe Freddie Freeman needs to hurt his ankle more often.
That's 6 straight games with a HR in the World Series, dating back to his Braves days.
First off, LOL @ that obnoxious Yankees fan grabbing the ball out of Mookie's glove. Glad that was properly ruled an out. Hope they were ejected.
Second, Will Smith got a lucky "Yankee Stadium" HR which wouldn't have been out in any other stadium.
Note that the dimensions of new Yankee Stadium are different than the old one, including 9 feet further in at the place where Smith hit the ball:

Anyway... 5-3 right now in what might be a tough battle.
Meaningless win by Yankees
Dodgers (Dave Robert’s acting as spokesman) made today a BULLPEN game except they stated preflop they were not going to use any high leverage (good) relievers unless they had the lead late.
I am impressed with how the Dodgers have managed this series. They are managing a tournament not a game. Very un-Dodger-like from a historical context but one must give them their flowers this year
god mode tbh
I pay more attention to prospect lists than most sane baseball fans, and I don't think I had ever heard of Ben Casparius before today.
