you understand wrong. some people make good money playing VP, I don't think anybody makes anywhere near 5mil though. I know one guy that makes 6 figures every year playing it. He plays games that are maybe slightly -EV or sometimes slightly +EV without comps. But then he gets cashback comps which make them +EV. Also they mail players freeplays each month, and he gets $6000 worth of free plays from his various casinos. And sometimes the casinos offer a promotion that is very +EV and he travels to that.

Big part of being a VP pro though is finding good opportunities and traveling to them when there is a good promotion, and it doesn't sound like he did much of that. That is all about having a network of friends who you talk with and tell each other about the good opportunities

Then, two weeks later, ISIS released the twelfth issue of its now-discontinued magazine, Dabiq, providing its promised proof by showing the IED it used to down the plane and details about its operation.

Man this reporter is freaking awesome. You can tell she knows this group inside and out, and even though she is floating the ISIS theory, she pokes holes in it showing the other side too. If anyone isn't reading these articles she is putting out I would recommend starting now, whether you believe ISIS was behind it or not. She is just presenting the information with no bias and is thorough as hell doing it.

Casinos are fucking retarded when it comes to their promotions. It isn't that rare for them to offer a promotion that is worth like $200/hr. So these guys find something like that, and grind it as long as they can stay awake, as long as the promotion is active. Because the casino will catch on quickly that they are getting raped, and shut down the promotion.

well, according to VPfree2, there are not many of those in Reno, and only 1 casino has a +EV game at stakes above $.25...plus its Double Bonus which is a relatively complicated version, and even then the edge is only .17%, so it is a real grind to play that long to hit the royal

Also interviewed an acquaintance who saw his massive gun collection a couple of years ago. He told the acquaintance it was every citizens right to have any and all guns. Then he goes on a rampage and proves why no one should be able to stockpile weapons of mass destruction. I don't know if he really made 5 mill from gambling or just flipped real estate which sounds more plausible. Just makes no sense he seemed to have everything and snapped. It wasn't overnight a lot of planning went into all this . He crossed every t and dotted every i. Just mind boggling.

He reported 5 million from jackpots boys, he didn't net 5 million in profit. Being a former accountant/IRS agent he knew the rules about record keeping. Okay well this makes a lot more sense. 5million in jackpot payouts is obviously nowhere near 5 million in profits. Very misguiding for newspapers to report that he made 5 million dollars last year. That would be like them saying a poker tourney pro made 1million last year because he had 1 million in cashes, even though his buyins were more than 1 million.

Absolutely none of the players talk about the event at the tables or whatever. The locals do in the Arts District or Container Park and such. VegasStrong is kind of a thing.

Spent more time behind the Stratosphere in that neck of the woods. The marijuana biz is fully evident with construction etc. Met some marketing guys working in that biz. Fascinating.

Life goes on. Prolly no safer place on earth now.

Sanlmar. Agreed. Have stayed everywhere, Venetian, Wynn, Belaggio, etc and they’ve always had security checking room cards at all elevators.

But fwiw,not Mandalay Bay. No matter the time I went up those elevators without ever seeing security. And no swiping room keys to get to my floor.

Not sure why druff or Brandon haven't explained this, or I missed that post, but he provably has 5 mil (or close to it) in write offs.

an example would be find a 99 % payback,
figure out how to make 2 % on club card cash,
play perfect video poker,
so they play at 101 % payback............and just rack up comps.

They can't hide the money as easy as a poker or BJ player as they get W-2's for jackpots.
