did you really remove his guardrails again?

Speaking of fees, here is a junk fee story about my BMW in 2013.
I bought a new BMW 750 xli (8 cylinder 4 wheel drive) with various options. I got a great deal on the whole thing, and paying just invoice price, which was WAY under sticker. However, it still came out to $95k out the door after taxes and fees. This was $95k in 2013 which of course is worth a good deal more today.
I keep my cars for an average of 9 years, so I buy them new, and I get good use/value out of them, in case you're wondering. I'm not one of those who feels he needs a new or different vehicle every 2-3 years.
Anyway, I kept having them remove the various junk charges and fees on there, one as high as $600. But as I said, it was still $95k when it was all said and done.
There was one more fee which bothered me. It said "Documentation $80". I asked the sales manager what this was, and he told me it was the fee for them to print documentation regarding the transaction. I told him, "Oh please remove that, I already have the documentation you emailed me. I don't need it printed."
He said, "No, that's for OUR documentation. It's paying for our printers, ink, paper, stuff like that. It's a mandatory fee."
I replied, "Well, just send me the documents by email and I'll print it myself and bring it to you, then take off the $80."
He answered, "No, it's not about just printing your documents. It's to cover our overhead costs in those areas. There's no way I can remove it."
I responded, "I don't understand. If that's the case, why isn't there a fee to clean the bathroom in the showroom, or to pay for the coffee machine?"
He then asked, "Are you really not going through with this sale over $80?"
I said, "I just don't feel good about paying almost $100,000 and having junk fees of $80 tacked on for no reason."
He said that his management absolutely wouldn't let him take off that fee, but offered to reduce the car price by $80, to neutralize it. I agreed. The deal was done, and they asked if I was going to pick up the car. It was being shipped from Germany.
I said, "No, I'd like it delivered." (They do this for free, btw.) The dealership was over 50 miles away from my house.
So they delivered the car. When the guy got there, he had a credit card form for me to sign, as I had indicated I'd like to charge part of the car. I said, "Oh I need more than one form. I'm using 4 credit cards."
I had just signed up for 4 credit cards to bonus whore, specifically for this sale. I didn't tell him that was why, but he must have found it so odd that I was buying a $95k car outright and then asking for 4 different credit cards to be used. I had to make copies of their blank form so we could do 4 of them, and he had to get permission from the office to allow this.
I'm sure I was a very memorable customer.

Too lazy to copy and paste your reply to Post, I actually had a non-Vegas related question.
You mentioned Sedona charges people to enter? What is the amount you paid? I'm getting different numbers on google searches and trip advisor.
Again, I prefer to drive it and take my time for photos, videos, meals, etc.
And what does a ticket include? Just access to certain areas or full access?
Do they allow you to bring your own food, drink and backpack? I only ask this because the Skywalk portion of Grand Canyon West makes you put all your stuff in a Locker except your phone and tickets. I guess they won't people throwing garbage in the Canyon and causing pollution?
Besides just walking around and taking photos, what else is there to do in Sedona? I understand you go for the scenery and hiking, but are there any proper trails you would recommend?
Thanks
Sedona itself doesn't charge you anything. Some of the "state parks" there are somehow managed by Indian tribes, which is annoying because they charge like $10/person to enter by car, and they have obnoxiously short hours like 8am-5pm, even when the sun sets much later. Or at least in April those were the hours.
I don't quite understand it, and I didn't bother trying to learn, because I'm not going to be back for awhile. It took me 53 years to finally visit in the first place.
Just driving through town you can see nice scenery of the rocks around you. One place I'd recommend for a free drive is Smoke Trail Lane and Red Rock Loop Rd. Red Rock State Park, which has an entrance fee, is okay but nothing you can't see from the car on those free roads.
You might be interested in this thread, where I gave a trip report of my April trip, including some pictures of an obscure trail (which is very scenic and somewhat difficult, but free): https://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/sh...ona-April-2025
Ass clown- Here is another thread you crapped in and polluted. Every single time you see "desertrunner", you rush in to post behind me with some BS. YOU act like a PEDO because youre obsessed with a complete stranger you dont know and you also know he is not interested in you following him, yet you keep doing it. Your continued ongoing behavior pattern is totally pedo.
As for the people who have left, its not because of me, its the same old liberal crap in here, you retards over tun the whole forum and have ran the good members off like Dwai, FTjesus, Boz and the Snow guy too. So STFU, we all know youre a total beta male loser that never made it in the real world, so you come in here to troll and pollute.
Anyways back on topic, thanks Druff for the info!
Debating on my next trip and whether to go back to Nevada(maybe Reno this time?) or do a proper trip in Arizona!
As for Vegas, I think when Wrestlemania comes back in April, there will be another boost in tourism and attractions. Unless you're from New Orleans, then you probably loathe Vegas and any shows they steal from YOUR city to line their pockets even more!
However, the actual matches and card for Mania last year was shite and they need to stop with these re-hashed feuds and matches we've seen a hundred times already!
I would never PAY to go to Mania, but it's always a fun week when the wrestlers, celebs, fanboys & girls and the media are in town that week!
While I know it isn't nearly the same, are the same price gouging issues happening in Laughlin? It may be a reasonable alternative for those not looking for the "full" Vegas experience, but to me, it may be an overall better deal now.
Earlier this year, I stayed at Laughlin a few times on business at the Tropicana and found their room rates to be reasonable. I dont remember any resort fee on the hotel bill. Back in the 90s, I stayed at the Harrah;s Del Rio often, but havent been there lately, but assume the room rates are competitive with the other river properties.
Over all, Laughlin seems busy, but not booming and barely hanging on. The California indian resort casinos really hurt them as well. I remember in the 90s always picking up the OC Register on Sundays and checking the Laughlin room rates, sometimes as low as $15 a night.
The 90s boomed in Vegas and Laughlin as there was no competition, sad how it is now. Across the river, Bullhead City seems to be doing well and growing.
