I just don't understand your logic, why would TJ drop down to 125lbs to fight for a title only to purposely not make weight, lose 20% of his purse and lose the opportunity to become UFC champ? He's shown absolutely no history of missing weight and he's a small 135lb fighter. You're inventing a scenario to defend DJ. You do understand that if TJ missed weight DJ would have the option of not fighting, right? DJ dodged the tough fight to break a great record, who can blame him.
Go ahead and pull UFC fighter salaries. An absurd amount of the top guys are paid extremely well. Guys like Nate Diaz, Mark Hunt, Alistair Overeem, Lawler are amongst the top earners in the UFC. The UFC pays guys who sell ppv's. They give title shots to guys who haven't earned it. Make the company money and you get paid, regardless of wins and losses. It's exactly what DJ is complaining about. He isn't paid anywhere near what the top guys are paid and he's the most dominant champion in the UFC. Do you have any links to fighters complaining about a pay scale that rewards a padded record? I know DJ complains of the exact opposite.
