so i have a tool that does this but it quantizes data to 24 hour peaks, is there a free package that does more granular stats?
im getting comfortable with needing to pay for historic access but i also kinda hate it.

follow up question is there a day trading platform that has hot keys for option buys/sells other than lightspeed?
thinkorswim has hotkeys for stocks but not for options, which is ignorant and hateful.
Charts, chart theory. Candle stick theory.
This is your beloved TSLA on the daily
An essay could be written about the psychology of those three days just based on the trading ranges.
Look up a description of each of those candlestick names and recall those days. Tell me if that doesn’t ring true.
Trading isn’t new. There are no magic data bullets. Humans haven’t changed that much over the centuries.
What has changed is that more people have access. So it’s poker. I know that you know what I know etc.
Or I throw up some Fibs and we all play the same bounce cause it’s like an unwritten rule
I cut off the price on the right. That was the $900 blow off
fucking love me some memestocks.
I could go on and on and I’ve riffed about it over the years...
It would be enlightening to look over the shoulder of a trader.
Years ago I ended up in an online group run by a N.Y. Russian savant. Lol, I was prolly using a Commodore Vic 20. Almost that long ago. That guy could soul read. Life changing.
I remember trading Mark Cubans meme stock MAMA. That was the day it all changed for me.
He made us study some stuff so we were all speaking the same language.
You spent 8 hours a day grinding. The market wasn’t nearly as volatile as it is now. You might sit patiently and he could be an irascible dick. He felt no compunction to entertain you.
You’d post your shit & follow his. Someone would start getting good at certain plays/setups and you’d tail.
The signal to noise these days prolly is impossible but it would be nice to join a group on a free trial basis and lurk. Just for the intellectual curiosity if nothing else. What tools are they really using. Efficient habits and screeners. Again, I have no idea how you would identify a good group.
I blew myself up trying to noodle the game out on my own, I’m in no mood to revisit that story atm.

cnbc pussyfooting around the 'who the fuck is buying all these stocks every night' mystery.
my personal theory is we just found out what happened to the confiscated epstein fund.
trumps new budget is about to be announced and its slashing safety net programs and foreign aid while giving corporations a 1% tax break.
so i think we have a good half a year of euphoric mania to tear the meat off of before the bartender turns on the lights.
so the budget announcement is march 11.
so i should probably dump my airline puts before march 10 (although i likely already will have as they expire march 20th) and put calls on amazon/salesforce/netflix...
since 1900, whenever a political party has run the senate for more than 2 straight years, the market has crashed.
are yall fucking with SCO?

between the daily repo injection and china once again putting out a fake daily infection update, the markets should be rather buoyant tomorrow i expect.
kinda off-putting premarket behavior today.
so used to seeing these vast synchronized shifts where everything seems swept by the same tide. today im seeing airline stocks get mildly plowed while non-superconductor tech stocks tip upwards.
and then we have strong showings from clownstocks like slack, yumc, and lk. even nio is having a moment.
it almost makes sense.
[immediately anxious and concerned]
Emotional maturity check:
5:00pm. Fuming that I bought another 10 shares of TSLA an hour before a recall notice hit.
5:01pm. Remembering that I was risk averse enough to not spend that money on a TSLA call contract.

anyone have any thoughts on why the market is blooming but corporate bond etfs are not?
Elon couple weeks ago: No more capital needed
Elon today : issuing more shares.
Tesla stock : meh no drop. It's all good
Somewhere in this mess I brought up force majeure for the lulz. We looked at shipping. Look at the Baltic dry index BDIY. That’s pretty impressive
Sorry Tyde
Elon and Ellison gonna put in their own money
$10m Elon - tip money. Nickels. Good PR
I was looking at maintenance. What it takes to work on a Tesla as a mechanic. You gotta wear these rubber gloves that are filled with air so you frigging don’t get electrocuted. Amazing
Old Charlie Mungar of Berkshire Hathaway was pretty funny
He talked about EBITDA today. Actually some fatherly adviceQuote:
I think Elon Musk is peculiar and he may overestimate himself, but he may not be wrong all the time... Tesla sales went up because Elon has convinced people he can cure cancer,” he said. “I would never buy it, and I would never sell it short.”
Read or look at video if u have time.
BoA yesterday ..... and the others
Gap and trap. What a gift.
There was a group called the Mamas and the Papas. Good harmonies. I keep humming this morning
'Cause you gotta go where you want to go
Do what you want to do
With whoever you want to do it with
You two should just get a room already.
YUMC down .5% on news that literally everyone is dying and every single one of their restaurants is a probable infection vector and no one is leaving their homes to go eat in any case.
We were down 250 early this morning .... they just keep buying.
We are going to zero on rates. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. Gonna pause at 1.31 or similar but you just can’t fight it. It’s relentless
It’s impossible for me to get real China street level anecdotal reporting. In a age of twitter and weibo you think there would be someone .... at least until they were taken away
