LOL! Bart, you really should do your homework before spouting off and showing your ignorance. Do you know what the average number of viewers that watch MSNBC in primetime is? It's about 1.1 million. CNN? 470,000.

Megyn Kelly has 930,000 subscribers. I took a look at how many views Bill O'Reilly's No Spin News has had from his show two days ago (that's enough time for everyone to get around to watching it). That show has got 1.1 million views so far. Plus he has a radio show on about 60 stations at last count.

Now, take a guess as to how much overhead Megyn and Bill have compared to MSNBC and CNN.

The under 50 crowd don't watch cable news so it's dying as the older crowd dies off. The kids are all into digital. The wave of the future. Be there or be square.

FNC wants to squash Tucker like a bug. They want him silenced. He knows it. The leaked stories about "oppo files" and such are part of FNC's diabolical plan to silence Tucker. With that "oppo" story they were signalling to Tucker that he better stay quiet or else.

But Tucker has come out swinging. In the tweet that Dwai put up Tucker is telling us what subjects he plans to cover in the future. These are all areas the media doesn't want covered by anyone truthful. The key line to me is the last line where Tucker says "See you soon." Tucker is signalling FNC that he will not tolerate them trying to silence him. He is also signalling to his 6.4 million Twitter followers that he plans to go digital.

Tucker, along with Don Lemon, has hired a high profile no nonsense lawyer, Bryan Freedman, to represent him in negotiations with FNC. I took a look around the internet on Freedman. The reactions by media people about Tucker hiring Freedman is "Wow!!!" Freedman is known as a dirty son of a bitch. Which is what it takes to get results against corporate media dirty sons of bitches. Get out the popcorn.

Tucker is also correct that we focus on unimportant issues. Prayer and Pelosi posters is straight nonsense.

Advice to give your kids. Never badmouth an ex employer or employee. Everyone stays in the industry and paths will meet again. In the same vein, golden parachutes benefit both sides. Fox wanted Tucker out. Tie him up with golden handicuffs. Give him an exit package. Make a speech thanking the ex employee for his service.

You ask, “why on earth would you pay someone you want gone more money?” The damage Fox is experiencing with this awkward exit serves as a lesson. Woulda been a fraction of what they have lost and will spend going forward.

We are the last generation to have seen these cable networks.

Yeah looks like the decision to fire him was very rash, and now Fox is going to suffer for it.

It's not like Bill O'Reilly, who was clearly guilty of sexual harassment, so most viewers understood why he was dumped. Also, O'Reilly had the highest average viewership age of anyone on TV (something like 73, if I remember correctly), so these people were unlikely to take to social media to complain about his firing.

Tucker's firing does not have a clear reason to it, and he also has a lot of appeal to middle-aged conservatives -- not just old people.

Tucker was the solitary face challenging neoconservatism - i.e. the war. Murdoch is an arch neoconservative. Murdoch founded Heritage and other liberal world order foundations.

Conservative in 2023 is a meaningless tag. All Republicans prolly consider themselves conservative.

Tucker has recently talked about his initial support for Iraq and then appalled by what he witnessed he had an epiphany.

It looks like Murdoch very well may have been the force which abruptly terminated him, and it was probably a rash decision.

The lack of clarity is what was given to the public. Even reading between the lines raises a lot of questions. Nobody knows the exact reason he was let go -- only guesses.

That doesn't fly with the public in this age, where everyone can discuss it and complain on social media.

Tucker was coached on the Fox stance for numerous subjects. The “leaked” Tucker texts hinted at him “being the company man”.

He was prolly coached about Ukraine yet he was becoming more outspoken and off script. Ukraine and neoconservativism is a line in the sand with Murdoch. It was his life’s work and he has invested millions in outfits like Heritage.

Tucker’s insubordination definitely caused a rash response. Very unprofessional on Fox part and just dumb business to part with Tucker in the manner that they did.

I will say that salesmen grind it out in real life selling things they might not necessarily believe in. People do a lot of things to earn a living that don’t exactly echo their heart. That’s fucking life. Tucker wasn’t a journalist he was an op ed guy. An entertainer. He is the most talented in America.

In a fashion Tucker was insubordinate. Fox was also dumb.

3.3M was Tuckers average viewership.

Last night’s show was viewed by around 1.3M.

Every show in Prime Time has lost 20% or more of their audience.


Now this is how a network makes money, boys.
