You forgot the earthlink email Magnum PI.
I won't ask where you got them because your source isn't complete, blow smoke up someone else's naive butt hole.

Maybe an arms dealer, or into some other type of illegal activity. Had too much money, too many properties, airplanes ect for a normal retired accountant.
I still am not buying the "down on his luck gambler" theory. I've seen nothing to suggest this, and everything points to him being well off financially.
Will be interesting to find out if the 100k he wired were his case funds, cash-wise.
Perhaps he decided it was better off sent to the Philippines (maybe to be used/held by Marilou or her family) rather than seized by the government after his crime and used toward restitution.
I also wonder if he sent Marilou on her trip in preparation for this, without her knowing what was coming. Something like, "Hey guess what? I bought tickets for you to go see your family for 2 weeks, and booked a hotel. It's fully paid. Have fun!"
Then of course she thinks he's just being generous, takes the trip, and gets the bad news on Monday.
Oh and if it is shown he lost millions and the 100k was his last money, that will again prop up the distraught gambler theory.
If it seems like he had a lot behind -- or if he had enough non-cash assets which could be liquidated to something substantial -- then it's likely not a correct theory.
I guess it's also possible that he just gambled at the end because he knew he was dying anyway, but to be honest, that takes some of the fun out of gambling. If you knew you were dying next week, would you spend your time grinding video poker? Even if you got lucky and won a lot, would it mean anything?
I would love to know when it was the last time he gambled, and for how much.
Oh, and he probably had access to her ID because she doesn't need her driver's license in the Philippines if she's not planning upon driving there. She probably took her passport and left the ID behind, which perhaps was also part of his plan.
Still not sure why he had to register as her, instead of himself. Maybe he was paranoid they would get wind of what he was doing somehow, and it might take extra time to find where he was.
Can someone fill me in on the Dan Bluzerian angle on this
Not got time sift thru this thread of inf shite.
Jesus Christ I've put in two hibernation sleep sessions since this happened and this AARP member is still the suspect. What in the fuck?
So many conflicting stories.
All of this is a classic patsy scenario.
Not watching 1 second of that fabricated nonsense
The irony is that the biggest actor here is " professional poker player" Dan Blizerian. He must have sold his soul, if he hadn't already, to take part in such woeful scripting:
