I'll tell you why I'm just a little spooked.
If Floyd takes one on the chin and dives he might make over a billion dollars, and the way he spends money he will need it. The rematches will be the biggest PPV in history.
Fight 1: take a dive
Fight 2: smash Conor
Fight 3: smash Conor
I simply think Floyd loves the $ and I really don't trust him.

You know how easy it is to react that tiny bit slower and eat a punch?... he'll need to take a few and he could easily make it look legit.
He can rant about he didn't take the fight seriously and was still in retirement mode and living large etc... Conor is the king of the world and EVERYONE wants a rematch I reckon.

And the chance he gets caught are zero.
Tell nobody and don't bet Conor in fight 1... maybe some super trusted insiders but not needed.
Look at the odds already Conor is pretty much 3-1 so wouldn't be totally unexpected in the slightest.
Zero chance Conor will fight anyone else in the ring in the meantime and devalue the retirement fund. He will not fight a real fighter for $20 or $30 or even $50 million.
Yeah it might hurt his pride losing that zero, but he'll enjoy every minute of the next two. Can he legally bet on himself, bet big fight two and three.
After he's finished. Conor is just a lucky schmuck that caught him with a lucky punch, and Mayweather has his redemption in the trilogy.
Mayweather should be between -1500 and -1000 I reckon.

I think you are paranoid. Mayweather has done everything he can to fuck with the line as well. The average betting fan also doesn't have a clue what they will be watching. I have tons of friends who really believe McGregor can win this fight. I think part of that is boxers have lost their mystique, for a long time they were viewed as man kinds toughest humans, the fighters. MMA has taken that from boxing and rightfully so, MMA competitors are the real fighters now.
My old man who was a life long boxing fan until MMA became a thing really believes McGregor can win and I think part of that is just knowing that he would win easily if it were a real fight. People don't know how specialized and different boxing is. Bet on Mayweather, he's going to be betting on himself if that makes you feel better about it.
for about 5 minutes i was interested in this fight as a stylistic gesture and now i just hope that in 5 days, ill never have to hear another 'floyd taking a dive' conspiracy theory ever again.

that theory makes no sense to me; mayweather losing to an amateur boxer isnt going to get him another $300m in the rematch, especially considering that ticket sales are fucking awful right now as it is.
not to mention, conor isnt going to retire from mma any time soon, and thats his only option if he takes another boxing camp. the sport wont stand for him fighting once a year, not when hes carrying a strap.

As big as MMA has gotten and even if their popularity has surpassed Boxing they are still going up against fucking Boxing... ya know the sport where Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and at least 50 more guys achieved more fame than whoever the top MMA guy is. If Conor beats Mayweather... and remember he's only a shade worse then 4/1 as I type this.
The rematch will make at minimum 30% more then this fight. And there will 100% be a rematch.
Conor will not defend his UFC belt.
i have lions share on floyd stopping him, with light action on conor landing a dream punch in the first 4 rounds.
Salty the UFC controls McGregor, they aren't just going to let him do a boxing trilogy. He has a contract with the UFC and there are huge MMA fights within the UFC involving McGregor. Put the bong down, stop the paranoid talk and place a large bet on Mayweather.
The fights going to make a lot because it's interesting. A lot of people who don't know the sports really believe this is a close fights, others will pay just to see Mayweather play with McGregor and some will pay just to see the spectacle.
I'm going to put 5k on Floyd just winning.
