Our only hope. She has one of the worst records of X touts:

Eagles getting booed on every play now. Offense has been complete trash. Defense also hasn't had an answer for the running, but somehow has held down to 10 points.
Game feels like it's 25-3.
Eagles have been awful. Still amazed it's only 10-3.
Anyway, if they can't pull off a comeback, Grandissimo will end, with everyone getting $1.2m. Otherwise 3 people will go on.
Annoying that they miss the extra point there after a nice drive where everything went right, and they went from their own goal line to scoring a TD in 2 minutes.
Still, I hope that TD was a momentum changer. Eagles hadn't scored a TD in 5 quarters.
Damnit, now a fumble on the 13 after a great interception.
Eagles keep fucking this up. I thought we were going to have a 16-10 lead.
:fail3
tush push fumble ohmyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Yeah looks like that fumble is going to kill my Survivor run -- and the Survivor runs of 90% of the remaining field.
Now they've given up a TD and it's 17-9. Extra point fail is now big because that will require a 2-point conversion on top of a TD if they come back and score one of their own.
Amazingly, it looks like fish who wasted the favorite Thanksgiving teams early are going to be the ones who move on.
Well, if I lose this way, which looks likely, at least I can't kick myself for picking the wrong team, or selecting the wrong path.
If all 4 favorites go down on Thanksgiving, you're probably not going to make it through unless you are doing fancy plays to try to fade the field, on unless you're a fish who scheduled badly. I still can't imagine myself picking underdogs in Survivor unless I have a really strong lean.
Guess this season was destined to fail for me.
Well, it's over. Had a ghost of a chance had they made the 2-point conversion, but they didn't, so they're down 9 with a few minutes left.
:bye
Sorry to hear Druff. Good run.
What would a parlay pay on all 4 Thanksgiving dogs? Has this ever happened ?
Great run. That sucks. Was pulling for you and investors.
Now that it's all over (for me), here's what I've learned from my third Circa Survivor (and second on my own):
1) Don't fancy play it early. There seems to be little value in this, and too much risk. This was my mistake in week 3.
2) Avoid road favorites. This was also my mistake in week 3.
3) If multiple tickets run deep, consider not over-diversifying. The truth is that, even had I not burned my 5 tickets early, I still likely would have split them to diversify certain weeks, all of which would have lost with my "second choice" team. There's some value in having multiple tickets late, especially in spots where you feel no team is a good choice, and you can sacrifice one if necessary. Some people did that this week, picking both Chicago and Philly, or both Cincy and Balt.
4) With multiple tickets late, taking a dog can occasionally be a smart play, under a few circumstances.
Taking a dog this time actually wasn't a bad play, because every single Thanksgiving team looked questionable, and it was highly likely that almost the entire field would be on two of the four favorites. I might have actually considered it had I held two or more tickets, but that's easy to say now.
With one ticket, I could not bring myself to even think of taking one of the dogs. If I had to take a dog, it would've been Cincy, as I couldn't have taken Green Bay.
Was fun but a frustrating end.
I'll be back next year.
what a shit show. don't know what to say beyond appreciate druff allowing us to invest. the 3 weeks i joined him were far more exciting than i expected and now i will definitely do this next year. again, thanks dd.
I'm glad you feel you got at least some enjoyment out of it.
I'm still deciding how many tickets to buy next year, but I'll have 9 months to come up with that number.
In case anyone's wondering, here was my path had I won today:
Week 13: Chargers vs Raiders
Week 14: Ravens vs Steelers (probably)
Week 15: 49ers vs Raiders
Week 16: Bills at Browns
Christmas: Lions at Vikings
Week 17: Bengals vs Cardinals
Week 18: Jaguars vs Titans
I'll be torturing myself to watch these closely to see if I would have won had the Eagles not shit the bed.
i still can't hardly believe the Bears beat Philly in Philly... especially with all the injuries the Bears had on defense, really hard to wrap my mind around this.... sorry for you guys... i was silently rooting for y'all and didn't want to say a word to jinx it... i thought it was a great pick and Druff + the investors would be sitting pretty right now, but shit happens, my Scrubbies, Bears and Bulls seem to do this all the time... as in win huge games that they aren't suppose to but then will turn around and lose big games that they are heavy favorites in and all in close proximity of each other, they've screwed me for years like this and i try and stay away from betting on them at all for these reasons... i am still in awe about the outcome of this game, Philly looked really flat for some reason, maybe the "home cooking" had something to do with it and thought they just had to show up, i mean who knows... and i was actually looking really forward to listening to Druff and all you other guys going over the scenarios for next week.... somewhat of a bad beat in my eyes only cause the Bears weren't suppose to win this game, Philly was just a no show all around and i think they just under estimated their opponents and + being at home lead to complacency.... and who could actually predict that.... but it happens all the time i guess, i just feel bad that it happened here...
