FAO Stock geeks: My NIA type pick for the next while

I pay very little regard to the news and analysts and all that. Mute CNBC

Stories get planted. You never really know by who or why. You can waste a lot of time working your way through all the levels. I have lost a lot of money being the sucker & trading the news.

Find a chart you like and start there. Then maybe listen for the noise - and then take the other side of the news if you are in doubt.

I dont visit any stock forums and all that. It is so easy to get your mind poisoned.

I can't believe Jim Cramer hasn't been taken out in a hail of bullets. This guy spends 12 hours a day spouting opinions and he never gets taken to task. Teflon. Brilliant brilliant act.

I remember when i was at the firm, Cramer still had the ability to pop a stock with a simple mention. Only time our office TVs came off mute for the most part, was his afternoon studio drop in.

SZYM $3s (round 2) look tempting. I'd be a buyer here.

So we fucked up the shorts the last two days. Gapped UP both days. A good number bail. You could now find some stock to borrow where you couldn't get any before. This was the traders basic plan.

We gap down today and kill the new longs (you KNEW) fail $35 so now you now your right- how can you not short when it drills $33?

I promised myself I would stop with the Lumber Liquidators talk. But I can't help it. Krypt I tried. You want to be in the market but this doesn't interest you? It doesn't get any better than this. Trading LL has been so pure.

My basic thesis from 3 days ago was the large number of March 30 PUTs BTW. Oh, look where we are!

I don't see anything but near term resistance coming. This thing has work to do first IMO. All those new momo buyers are still holding - a shit ton too. Most of these guys are in above $3 and are weak and may look to get even.

Now if you want to just answer "I got a feel" I won't argue. Some guys have that.

I think the LL show is over for now around 30. Go back through my LL posts last 3 days. Come on, it was pretty solid and delightfully cynical.

Department of Energy has issued a statement that they were buying back 5mm barrels of crude oil for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

The SPR is bursting - this is a simp intervention - a desperate attempt to solve what the government acknowledges is a problem.

Anything the government does is stupid - but does this signal panic?

I still think it wants $40. $39 starts a fresh conversation.

When Canadians start jumping out of windows in Vancouver - you buy.
