I hear the quality and I could probably go with it but I'm just too far North. Old dog new tricks

Stephen Malkmus is a god.
What's interesting about this song is the back up vocals and percussion provided by former Sleater-Keanny drummer Janet Weiss.
She is back up vocals on most of the songs in the albm

I've seen Malkmus almost every time he's come to Vancouver and it is astounding every time
Being a slobbering drunk I have meeted and greeted with both Stephen and Janet
1:21 for Weiss's vocals
Honestly Great Britain is far and away better than the United States. Canada lies low and takes the best of both but if had to latch on to one or the other the UK is the obv. choice
As I enjoy the recent posts from limitless, Crowe Diddly, Beer and Poker, Tony Bag of Donuts and even gut I have to admit this might be the best thread on PFA.

Post performance interview with Dick Cavett. At this time, Dick Cavett was the intellectual version of Johnny Carson.

That interview was enlightening for a couple of reasons. One, Dick Cavett could not be flummoxed by any guest no matter how important/great they were. Two, Joplin could not be drawn into small talk. She embodied art and anything else was not important to her. At least that's what I get from listening to her.
This is a thread within this great thread.
How about posting bands from your city or town?
Here's my offering.
I'm not sure if you have heard of Orpheus but, years ago, they were huge in my city and later gained a national audience.
This was my favorite song. It's about a street in my home town. Below it I have posted one of their hits that went viral. Of course this was during the 1960's so most of you have never heard it.
