I love how Trump and his minions get mad at the media for accurately reporting the ridiculous shit he says, and having the gall to bring up shit he said days or weeks ago that completely contradicts the shit he's saying today.
Jesus, there you go again, pontificating just how much smarter than you are than everyone else. Everyone that voted for Trump including himself knew there was a totally different electorate than the primary. Quit trying to act like you are so much smarter than everyone.
Trump's goal was banking this was a change election. He may or may not be right. Since there are many more Democrats in this country than Republicans, its one last Hail Mary, otherwise the Dems will likely take every prez election for the next 50 years. You don't need to be smart like you to realize its a 1 in 4 chance he wins, and it will take likely a drama bomb around Hillary, which could happen with Wikileaks. Unlikely, but still could happen.
Trump's goal was to get to the dance. Everyone knew he would be way behind in the general, your "insight" is like suggesting grass seed won't grow in the desert. Now back to Rachel Maddow pal.
