We have Nestor Cortes -- he of the walkoff World Series HR. He wasn't totally healthy when he gave that up, and he isn't now. He didn't pitch well for Milwaukee before injuring himself, and was shipped to San Diego, and will be starting today. He pitched well in minor league rehab outings, but that's a long way from MLB. I am not convinced he will be an effective starter until I see him throwing well at the MLB level again.

I forgot to mention that it was announced that he's not on a pitch limit. That was some of the reason I made this bet. If they were going to limit him to 60 pitches or something, that would increase the chance that he would have a successful outing.Quote:
