I will take the 1st person to bet $40
I will Take ANAND if draw whole match I win
You get Carlsen
You can bet up to or after Tomorrow even after Game 5
Lets Gamble:boom:boom
#CarlsenAnand game 5 is drawn! Match score is 2,5-2,5
And Carlsen plays white next game.... things are getting interesting.
NO BETS.. Sending it to the freeroll.
Carlsen makes a big blunder with the white pieces on move 26, but Anand does not see it and quickly blunders himself. Anand would later resign. If Carlsen can win the next game there is no chance Anand could mount a comeback down 2 games.
Funny game, reminds me of old saying from Grandmaster Tartakover:
"The winner of the game is the player who makes the next-to-last mistake."
I would be pissed too if I had a bet on Anand. When you are playing classical chess you can't make an automatic move. He had plenty of time and should have thought through all the potential moves. Anand would be up two pawns at that point in the game and shouldn't have faced much resistance.
Carlsen only leads by one point, everything is still possible.
Still 3 games to play.
It is not over yet.. Now Anand has to go for the Win.
Game 9 was a classic draw rep..
Although almost impossible I think Anand can win one of the last 3 games and draw the other two.
I realllllllly dont see it happening. Hes literally dropping games to this guy:

Anand simply doesnt have it in him to take this home.
Thread needs more analysis from recreational chess players on how the world's elite play chess.
I wonder if Belly Buster inc. has the ability to put a chess app on this site,
where you can bet on the outcome of your or anyone elses match.
I'm still learning about Prawns but I am a quick study.
There's already a chess app in CometChat.
There was also this thread.
Im 1797 on chessclub.com for online games (tourns and such) but 99% of my play these days are bullshit bullet games (3-0, 2-1, 5-0) and Im running around 1550 +/- 100 depending on how well my brain is working. I studied under some very strong coaches back in 2004'ish, got way the fuck too deep into it and walked away.
I think it's well known in the Chess community that you threw away a chance to be the next Eddie Fischer, Booby's younger brother, but you caved to the fruits of the burgeoning beer pong leagues.
And it just happenes you end up partnering with a girl named Sverlana in the mixed up dodoubles and lost by a single point..........Svetlana never to be seen again.
RUDE.
I think I got out of chess and into online poker. And what a special road that took me down.
The winnah and still champion of the world, Magnus Carlsen!

Carlsen took game 11, putting the score to 3-1 Carlsen in a 12 game match
No one can say Anand deserved better than he got.
Thats the good thing about chess compared to poker, the best always wins
Maybe the first real world champion after the chaos of the chess world and the 10 unknown "champions" between the Karpov/Kasparov era and Carlsen.
real talk tho Id rather watch Nakamura play than Carlsen.
probably, honestly i dont follow games that much anymore. thought i had an edge this round, didnt pan out.
Caruana is the 2nd highest rated player right now, thanks to his dominating performance at the Sinquefeld Cup in St Louis this year...
but the world championship challenger is determined by the FIDE candidates tournament, which will be held next in March 2016...
I too hope Caruana is the one to challenge
Caruana is a fkin boring nerd, i hope he won´t be the challenger.
He is American and lives in USA, but plays for Italy, what an ahole...
He plays for Italy in the Chess Olympiad for instance
maybe the mafia guys pay him lol
GM Ben Finegold also doesn´t like that, look at his instructive videos on youtube
according to wikipedia
In 2004 at age twelve, he relocated with his family from Brooklyn to Madrid to pursue a professional chess career. He trained with International Master (IM) Boris Zlotnik in Madrid,[3] and in 2007 he moved to Budapest to train with grandmaster Alexander Chernin.[2]In 2010 Caruana moved to Lugano, Switzerland, and, at the end of that year, started to train with grandmaster Vladimir Chuchelov.[4]
but i believe he is Jewish, as there was an association with Congregation Beth Elohim, a reform Jewish congregation in Brooklyn New York...(isn't that factoid enough to change your mind or are you also a goy interloper?)
Karjakin is the next challenger.
But i think he has no chance vs. Magnus Carlsen.
