I just explained because you are clueless about share selling just like you are about stakes and like you are about just about every other topic you have posted in whether poker related or not.

What does a stake I'm running have to do with this topic anyways? Last I checked this thread was for Druff to sell shares and explain to people what's going on.

Thanks to Mad Dad for being the first guy to buy a piece this year. Thanks to everyone else who has stated your intention to buy, even if I haven't received your funds yet.

I'm going to try really hard this year to make all the right decisions and bring home some cash for the community.

I know this has already been mentioned, but just to confirm, if you want 1% of me across the board, the price is $263.

Please note that you might end up getting a small refund if you do this, because there are certain events I won't play if I make Day 2 or Day 3 of a previous event. You may also get a small refund if I end up missing events due to illness. If either occurs, I will contact you and give you options for either a refund or to "roll" the money into another event.

Also please note that "across the board" only refers to the events I'm selling.

Wouldnt it be easier just to offer "Across the board" shares only?

I know it risks shutting out some of the loyal posters/fans with smaller bankrolls, but from an accounting/admin pov, its going to be a hell of a lot less work.

You could also use the "participation points" concept for a 1% share ATB pool and people who cant afford a whole 1% could easily put money in for that with other people.

It looks like everyone is now "ATB" anyways, so wouldnt be hard to make the change.

Also, is there a cap per person on shares in any event?

I can already tell you. Harrah's already auto-tips the dealers out of the prize pool. Therefore, there will be no additional tips given by me for any WSOP event.

My view on auto-tipping poker tournaments is this: If dealers are auto-tipped, that means I have to tip them even if they are rude and/or terrible. Therefore, if they are getting the security of auto-tipping (taking the choice out of my hands), I don't feel they should also be entitled to extra if they happen to do a better-than-expected job. If there is no auto-tip, I always tip the standard 3% on all of my cashes. That won't apply here since all WSOP events are auto-tipped.

Regarding your other questions:

There s no specific cap on how much each person buys per event, but I also don't want a few individuals hogging up most of the shares. If you are planning on buying something large (15 shares or more of any event), please contact me first and make sure I'm okay with it. Last year I had the big buyers hold off on their extra shares until near the event, to make sure everyone got a chance to buy.

Finally, I don't want to force everyone to do across-the-board. I want everyone to have a choice in the events they buy.

The staking system you have is fine, especially if you are just looking for as much hedge volume as possible.

Check in the mail, btw.

I also want 1% across the board, and will likely take additional shares of the limit events if they are still available closer to the series. Sending Pm.

I will probably just wait and see whats left after giving people who want to pay now a chance to get in and take what i can at a later time. When are you going to be coming out as i will just give you cash in hand?

They can buy all the way up to the time of the event.

However, I will stop accepting checks nce the event is less than 15 days away. I will make exceptions for people I know and trust.

Otherwise, if the event is less than 15 days away, and I don't know and trust you, you'll have to either deposit money into my bank account, or give me cash in person.

This is being done to prevent fraud. I don't expect there to be any fraud, but I don't want any scammers freerolling me by stopping their checks after I fail to cash in the event they bought.

Please note that if you are waiting until closer to these events to buy pieces, I will not be accepting checks less than 15 days prior to the event.

However, Event 14 did have some pieces sold. If I miss that event, you will need to choose whether you want a refund or if you want to roll the money into a different event. I would also advise against buying Event 14 at this time.


2) I created a WSOP forum. You will be able to follow my action on each event in that forum. Just click on the thread corresponding with the event, and you will see all of my Twitter updates for that event.
