It will become an Imagineering office. Ironically, it will probably be occupied by some of the same Imagineers who poorly developed it in the first place. This means that these people will get a daily reminder of how they failed.
There was some talk that they might convert the whole thing into a dinner theater, but it was decided it was too far "backstage" from Disney's Hollywood Studios Park.
However, they did do some testing of a dinner theater there, which might eventually show up in the Hollywood Studios Park, in a separate building.
Due to the fact that they took a tax writedown on this whole mess, they cannot convert the building to any kind of practical use for some time, so it might be years until it actually becomes office space.
Druff Disney Prints money they arent worried about a wasted building or two, and Disney's not cheap
