Cough medicine is a crazy fucking trip. If you take a shitload of it where the only active ingredient is dextromethorphan you will be more fucked up than you have ever been in your life. Tried that shit in high school one time and tried mushroom twice in college. Cough medicine was much crazier IMO. Don't try it.

Indiana is the worst state I've ever been to. The big city (Indy) is utterly forgettable and the rest of the state is awful. Drove to Chicago this summer for a half marathon partially through Indiana, nothing at all but cornfields.

While out recently a friend and I bet $50 as to who could name the most states matched with the capitals. I lost, only being able to name 49 states and 41 capitals. Give it a try, much harder than you think. The state I couldn't think of? Missouri.

I have been to every U.S. state except Alaska, Oregon and Wisconsin. I don't remember Idaho, but I'm pretty sure I was there when I was a kid, on a trip through Yellowstone. Not positive about Idaho.

I also think the world economy is on the verge of collapse.

I am torn as to wether it is part of a long term plan by the powers that be to consolidate power and resources or wether it is just incompetence. Either way, there will be some dramatic changes coming in the next 10 -15 years and none of them will be good for working class people imo.

If Bynum can stay healthy and Evan Turner comes into his own with Jru Holiday, Thad Young, Nick Young, and Jason Richardson with Hawes at the 4 possibly, we are looking at growing into a top tier team. It really all depends on the back court with Holiday/Turner. If Turner can get the minutes he needs, and continue to become more and more productive then we have a real shot.


I don't think the Eagles will do shit this year. I predict Mike Vick to play no more than 10 games. You heard it here first. Most people are counting/hoping on 13 in the city. I don't see it happening. We've had two preseason games, and two x-rays. He's played a total of six plays. I don't like it. On the other hand Foles is blossoming in front of our eyes. A third round pick out of Arizona has been knockin em dead. He's 6'6 245 and has all the tools you need to be a successful QB. He also seems to have the intangibles that coaches look for.


The weather in Philly has been amazing this past week at night. It gets down to about 63 degrees and with the windows open it's quite a treat to sleep to.


I leave in 17 days. Stoked. Looked at a bunch of flights all over Asia because they're super cheap. Going to be a great life experience, and I really hope I don't die.


I have to find out about my visa.

I'm watching From Dusk Til Dawn. Great flick.

I could fall asleep at any minute right now.

It's not just about Bynum staying healthy.

He also has to stay consistent.

He is so frustrating, because some games he looks like a superstar, and others he looks terrible and unfocused, and you never know which Bynum is going to show up.

That's why I'm glad the Lakers finally washed their hands of him and got Howard.

When I lose at poker, especially when I lose big, I sleep really well.
