I imagine that a judge would agree to hear this case rather than individuals could possibly e done as a group hearing which would potentially be more cost effective and save a tone of court time? Most every one listed I knows each other in some way. But ya minimum 50k to see something like this through.
Good luck though I would attempt to contact him privately and grovel if you have to and get him to cancel the paperwork and possibly pay for his out of pocket legal fees, and never speak his name again.

I don't know enough about the legal system in Cali, but why would Postle not create 13 separate cases here and individually go after each of you for a varied specific list of things that you he claims y'all did to him?
Since there is no way in hell this hodge-podge group of 13 companies and individuals will every be threatenable as a <group that conspired to work together to hurt Postle>, why create a catch-all complaint?
It's probably cheaper this way for one (legal firm is on retainer, maybe just "helping out a friend") but by creating any kind of threat of going after his detractors for BIG MONEY, Postle may think he is effectively sowing the seeds of doubt about his errant ways in possibly a few members of the public who have not been following the case and don't really think one way or another whether Postle is guilty of cheating.
Perhaps Postle is fully aware this is a sham that won't go anywhere but he thinks it will help his reputation (and supposed upcoming documentary about him that he is somehow helping produce) by doing this very ballsy, flippant thing.
Remember when he went on Mike Matusow's podcast and spoke about everything before he had his court dates? That wasn't smart.
I hope the 13 defendants can go after him for more than just an Anti-SLAPP shot. Surely he is not thinking about what can happen to him for doing this, but don't be going up against rich poker players..it's good advice that Postle is again ignoring. The hubris...
