Dumb.
It’s kinda funny that the same people who just tried to cancel 80 million votes also like to complain about cancel culture.

PATRIOTS RISE UP
Woke white retards caused all this. Descendents of Aunt Jemima are pissed. She was a real person that created a very famous pancake recipe that fed the world. Her descendents, all black, say she is being cancelled. They want her legacy to live on and want Quaker Oats to reverse the decision.
I'm still trying to understand how a picture of a black woman on syrup is racist.
Were mass numbers of black people complaining about this? I doubt it.
Looks like more virtue signaling from woke white liberals who strain their shoulders patting themselves on the back for being so sensitive.
The original logo is gone, though.
At this point, it's just a black woman, and there's no racist connotation to the label. Also, I only heard complaints from woke whiteys. I didn't see any kind of real movement from black people to get rid of this. In fact, Aunt Jemima herself was not ever portrayed negatively -- even in old times. The "black mammy" figure was seen as a responsible, motherly woman, who was unfortunately enslaved. Celebrating her is fine, even if her circumstances are condemned.
But the current Aunt Jemima doesn't have a mammy look, but rather just a middle-aged black woman smiling. I see no reason to get rid of that, other than to make white leftists feel good about how sensitive they are.
LOL at woketard morons like you. Here is a picture of the woman that invented the famous pancake recipe. This used to be the picture depicted on the box but they changed it because of woketards like you. Now you woketard idiots have cancelled her forever. The article is about the comments of her relatives that don't like the fact that her legacy is now being covered up. And they ain't flaming righties either. Just the opposite. This is why I say the first to the revolution are the 2nd to the guillotine.

Just the fact that it’s logo was racist long ago is good enough reason for some people. Same thing is happening with the university of Texas fight song. The tune was used in minstrel shows even though the current song has nothing related in the least. The tune is the same as “I’ve been working on the railroad” for those unfamiliar.
Apparently you're not allowed to critique a female's performance in a movie anymore.
Read this review for "Promising Young Woman": https://variety.com/2020/film/review...ew-1203480660/
Pretty typical, right?
Apparently this paragraph is super duper bad, according to Team Feelings:
Quote:
Mulligan, a fine actress, seems a bit of an odd choice as this admittedly many-layered apparent femme fatale — Margot Robbie is a producer here, and one can (perhaps too easily) imagine the role might once have been intended for her. Whereas with this star, Cassie wears her pickup-bait gear like bad drag; even her long blonde hair seems a put-on. The flat American accent she delivers in her lowest voice register likewise seems a bit meta, though it’s not quite clear what the quote marks around this performance signify.
Variety, where this interview appears, is now putting this warning label on the review:
:facepalm4Quote:
EDITOR’S NOTE: Variety sincerely apologizes to Carey Mulligan and regrets the insensitive language and insinuation in our review of “Promising Young Woman” that minimized her daring performance.
By the way, the reviewer is a 60-year-old gay man, and is shocked that they are attempting to paint this into a situation of misogyny, or of a man feeling a female isn't "hot" enough for her role.

Film criticism is bad because it's critical!!!!!11
Gina Carano fired from The Mandalorian, because of an Instagram post saying that being a conservative today is like being a Jew in Nazi times.
Dumb post, but calling it "anti-Semitic" is bullshit. I'm a Jew and I'm not offended by that at all. Nothing derogatory about Jewish people was stated or implied there.
So is Disney/ABC/ESPN going to fire everyone who has compared Trump or other Republicans to Hitler or Nazis? Or does this only go one way?
I think we know the answer.
Apparently they were looking to fire Carano for months, because she's on the right and outspoken about it. There's also BS claims that she "pushed election fraud conspiracies", when in fact all she did was criticize mail-in voting and said that our election system needs to be closely examined to stamp out fraud. I agree!
Funny how the left invents "anti-Semitism" where it doesn't exist, in order to go after Republicans. At the same time, they embrace actual anti-Semites like Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.
"Follow the Benjamins!"
Disgusting.
A lot of people, mostly Trump supporters have been permanently banned by Twitter in the last few weeks.

Check out the podcast "Blocked and Reported" hosted by Jesse Singal and Katie Herzog. It's all about cancel culture from the perspective of reasonable journalists who are left-leaning. They receive an immense amount of hate from folks on the far left (e.g., both have been labelled TERFS).

In their most recent episode they had a fascinating interview with a woman who was trans (took testosterone to transition to become a man) but then "detransitioned" back to being a woman.
A couple of episodes back they reviewed the "recovered memory wars" of the 80s and 90s. Basically, a bunch of people claimed that, through therapy, they had come to recover vivid memories of being sexually abused (often by their relatives). However, recovered memories have little to no scientific support. You do not completely forget about traumatic abuse and recover it perfectly years later. Lots of families were torn apart and legal proceedings followed. A lot of prominent false memory researchers like Elizabeth Loftus testified to debunk claims of recovered memories (based on science!) and were vilified for "denying" people's traumatic experiences even though in hindsight those false memories were bullshit.
Sounds familiar doesn't it?
Disney is releasing the 1970s Muppet Show... but they have up a warning, just in case Kermit offends people.

Long overdue for a non-binary potato head but at least Hasbro is on the right track.
Under Armour is next go woke...
https://www.breitbart.com/sports/202...tion-programs/
Quote:
According to the Outkick, a whistleblower is reporting that the sportswear giant has mandated that employees take a so-called “anti-racism” course entitled “Above the Surface: Dominant White Progressive Narratives” that urges white employees to examine how they might be racist.
Under Armour “forced its white employees to participate in a training program that asked them to consider ways in which they might be racist.”
The course’s moderator even reportedly asked white employees how many “virtually all-white” funerals they had attended during their lives, insisting that not going to a minority funeral may prove the employee is racist. After asking that question, the moderator quickly interrupted, saying that she didn’t want to give whites time to think of their answer. She then told white employees that the question “should be something that you are thinking about if you are white for the rest of your life.”
I mean what's wrong with this though, it's an Athleticwear company diversity I'm sure is very much all around it.
To extend to your employees, white black whatever color sensitivity training of sorts. Should be expected really. And as a company wholly its defiantly beneficial to your Teams efficiency, effectiveness and probably togetherness. So I see this no matter how you spin it as a beneficial thing for any company, especially one in Athletics like Under Amour is and diversity is a very, very large part of that all entirely.
Interesting that they only want their white employees not to be racist. Other races, keep on keepin on.
Seen at my grocery store tonight:
:lol2
Team Retard going to starve naked in the desert with all these food and apparel companies gettin' woke
