One of the screens says these seats are reserved...



But noone came by to shoo me away. So, I sat comfortable in one of those padded chairs and sat down to watch some harness racing. Apparently not too far from Tinegod’s COVID pandemic bunker...



Oh, wait a minute. The SonTine Compound is near the Catskills, two states over. Never mind!

In any event, I managed to record most of a VERY exciting harness race on my phone, and will upload the footage to my YouTube channel sometime later today.

Not gonna rag on a trip report, but I mean risking your life to play a 1-2 game? Doesn't seem like a good strategy.

And now the start of a another session of high-stakes No Limit poker!



Oh, and there IS a protective panel directly in front of everyone at the table. But the bottom of it is so high, it is barely noticable. Or at least it wasn’t so last night when I went on the ridiculous heater and left the game over 10,000 up.

 

(Pennies, that is.)

Just won a hand preflop-bluffing with 72 off-suit in the big blind.



But then threw away $7 betting a repeatedly checked board from under-the-gun when I thought I had picked up the second-nut straight to the queen on the river

Alright... It’s a little past 3pm and I’ve developed a reputation as a maniac with a bunch of moderately sized bluffs. Time to get monsters and stack people...

DAMMIT!!! I flopped bottom set against the preflop raiser who flopped top set and I was denied the 1-outer suckout...



But, time to wash my hands of that cooler situation...



...and rebuy for the max against the bigger stacks now at the table...

Hey, Druff! One of the dealers here (Jason from West Palm Beach) saw me fiddling on the forum and gave you a shoutout...



...for being a “good guy” in the poker community for exposing frauds and such.

Oooooh, baby! I flopped top-two (Ks and 10s) against a guy who limped in the big blind with AK offsuit. And he put me all-in on the flop with about 3/5ths my stack after I check raised him in the small blind. Niiiice!...



OH, WAIT! The dealer is taking my cards away after checking our cards against the complete board!...



What the...??? Oh, yeah. My opponent 3-outer me on the turn with an Ace.



Oh well... Another add-on to my stack, and I keep on plugging away.

At a minimum, I’m getting some great ideas for shoe styles if I ever decide to retire from trucking and go back to grinding low-limit live poker for a living. Check this baby out...

I’m getting kind of hungry, as it’s been about 7 hours since I had that bear claw while at the sport book. And there’s noone left at the table that was here when I had developed the rep of a maniac. So, I’m gonna leave for dinner after the button passes me this next hand.

I know what YOU mean. However.....

I remember asking years ago what the glass radio booth was all about. It was VSIN. The creation of Brent and his brother, iirc. A sports wagering station located in a sportsbook. They were far ahead of the Legalized wagering curve. They are on MSG in New York and NESN in Boston now. Prolly many others cities.

Musberger smashed it. To me the autograph means a lot. Guy had vision. His timing was spectacular.

It was delicious! Well worth leaving the poker game for!

Oh! And because of some special promotion the South Point poker room was running, I got it with some free chips, and you know how much I love free stuff! But I exchanged them for some fresh greens to go, which are, of course, healthier.
