Trump thinks it’s going to end with him being re-elected, then spending the rest of his life cashing in on his fame and influence. Given that every single Democratic candidate is pretty much a douchebag and the economy is in good shape, his chances are good. He achieved one of the greatest political feats in American history in getting elected. Anyone who underestimates him is a fool. I did.
". . . I look forward to a jury verdict in each of these cases and am confident that when my peers passes judgment on my conduct, that justice will be done and I'll be fully exonerated."

LOL.
My list of top 5 Defendants juries hate the most:
1. Lawyers who defraud their client(s)
2. Lawyers in disputes over their legal fees
3. Insurance Companies
4. Big Banks that foreclose on their individual borrowers
5. Corrupt politicians
Dems are making it easy for Trump to get re elected. They’ve done nothing since winning the House except more bitching and continuing the same lines they’ve used since 2017. Public is going tone deaf to it all. Hell they may very well lose the House again at this rate as people go well we voted for new folks and nothing changed. Pelosi Schumer and yes even that idiot McConnell on the GOP side are the poster children for term limits for Congress.
Current favorability ratings on RealClear: Trump 43%, Pelosi 37%. The face of the Democratic party is less popular than Trump. That is LOL bad. Shout out to Mitch McConnell at 24%! I bet he thanks God every day that most people in Kentucky are illiterate and have yet to hear about the internet.
and... he was arrested again and his bail was revoked

Michael Avenatti convicted of trying to extort up to $25M from Nike
https://nypost.com/2020/02/14/michae...25m-from-nike/
The guy is fucked, if he also gets convicted on the other charges too, he will do at least 10 years in federal prison plus another 10 years in state prison.
I nominate Sean Penn to play Michael Avenatti in the upcoming movie.

Actually looking closely at Michael Avenatti's other charges, tax fraud, money laundering, extortion which are all federal charges in New York and California.
Avenatti could get 15 to 20 years in federal prison of which you do about 85% of your time.
Great endorsement for Joe Biden.

I think the statement "he's fucked" is the understatement of the century.
I'm not going to go looking up all of the minimum/maximum prison sentences he's facing, but it's safe to say that when the other trials are over and the dust settles, he's not getting out.
Ever.
Im sure following all of this, down the road you will hear about him killing himself in prison. Or, due to his attitude and arrogance, he will piss off the wrong person in the joint and will be taken care of.
I'm trying to figure out why you're so focused on this 10 or 15 to 20 years? Not implying you're wrong or anything - I really havent dug into it much - just looking for a source to read that states this; I just feel as if he is seeing A LOT more time than that. In just one of the trials, he is looking at a maximum of over 300 years. I just don't see that, along with the other trials, giving him any possibility of getting out - even in a big sweetheart deal.
The federal government go by federal sentencing guidelines. Usually if the defendant admits their guilty and show responsibility for their actions, the judge could run the sentences concurrently.
However if you take your case to court and lose, the judge can sentence you consecutively and in extreme cases do an upward departure from sentencing guidelines.
Theoretically, Avenatti could be facing 300 years. He would never get 300 years though or even 100 years. Federal sentencing guidelines might recommend 7 1/2 to 8 years. He may also be convicted in the tax case and fraud/extortion from his client Stormy Daniels. The federal judge could run his time concurrently or consecutively. It's a difference of ten years or more.
Obviously, Michael Avenatti deserves the maximum possible sentence.

Again, two sets of justice. He had pneumonia last year?! What a fucking joke. He'd be digging ditches down here.
Michael Avenatti, the celebrity attorney whose clients include adult film star Stormy Daniels, has been released from a New York jail as he begins a temporary reprieve from detention because of coronavirus pandemic fears.
Avenatti was released from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan around 11 a.m. ET, according to Dean Steward, one of his attorneys.
Avenatti is required to surrender to authorities and return to the jail at the end of 90 days, Judge James Selna ruled earlier this month when he granted the attorney's request for release.
"We're really gratified that the judge took the action that he did. He recognized the seriousness of the situation. Unfortunately, there are a lot courts across the country that have not. We're fortunate," Steward told CNN.
Avenatti has been held in quarantine for the past two weeks at the jail to ensure he doesn't have signs of the virus.
According to the judge's order, an attorney will escort Avenatti on a flight to California where he will serve the 90 days of home confinement at his friend's house in Venice, California.
A frequent user of Twitter, Avenatti will not be allowed to use the internet and he will be required to wear a monitoring bracelet.
The temporary release came after Avenatti's lawyers said he was at risk for contracting coronavirus because he had pneumonia last year. Currently one inmate and 31 staff members have tested positive for the virus at MCC, according to the Bureau of Prisons.
Avenatti has been held at MCC since January when Selna revoked his bail finding that Avenatti engaged in suspicious financial transactions.

Despite what i said, he will likely spend the next 15-20 years in a federal prison based upon his position, amount of $ stolen, and number of victims (god i hope it is not a country club). He's in jail for hiding $ while pending trial. Odds he jumps is probably 35%. His problem is he is too recognizable.
This is a guy CNN and MSNBC had on all the time last year. Hilarious.
He got convicted of extortion even though Nike was paying college athletes families large amounts of money in violation of the law.
He will lose his law license for many years and the judge will make an example of him at sentencing.
Soon he will be starting in an all-anal porno.

Avenatti representing himself in this case, cross-examining Stormy Daniels.
Seriously, how is this shit not live on pay per view? Could probably fund Build Back Better at $49.00 per day.
