Not a big Tuco fan. Liked the scenes in Tuco's office in BB. Didnt care much for the other Tuco scenes. Always found him to be sorta campy. Same thing happening here. Loved.. LOVED the parts after Tuco. Not looking forward to more Tuco tho.

Haven't watched second episode yet. First was surprisingly good but I felt kinda like they were trying too hard to replicate breaking bad. Smart underachiever meets teenager who teaches him how to profit from crime. Not sure if I like the incorporation of past characters but shall see. If they go deep enough then I like it (motives and how they turned out that way)

Saw first ep. Solid. Can't over analyze two episodes just yet.

First episode good.
Second episode I'm starting to worry.
I'll watch episode 3 no problem.

You can tell this was done by the BrBa team producers and Directors. What's missing (so far) is the BrBa writers. They forced Tuco in there big time and it was way to early for that.

Yes if you recall Saul says in BB I'll be lucky if I get a job as manger of Cinnabon in Omaha Nebraska.

There was actually lots of small reference, loved the show. So well done.

loved the show so far. couple of minor glitches imo but so far it looks very promising.

Ok yes, I recalled him mentioning the Cinabon in Omaha but for some reason I thought he had said he already worked there, and I thought maybe the tape he had was some gag he made on his own and was sitting there watching it. The HD tv didn't make sense, but having a VHS tape did. So I was really torn there.

Nobody has fucking tapes anymore

And I watched the second episode. Tuco is corny. As an actor that guy can only play a junkie imo. Blood in Blood out. Even in Training Day he sounded like a jail house gimp talkin bout his shit pushed in.


The thing that will keep this show afloat is James McGill/Saul himself. The guy delivers. Every other character pails in comparison to him, and that's just not fair because he is SO GOOD

I have been assuming the same thing till reading this thread. Everything seems like it's a scene from the past with the way he looks. I suppose he does look older though.

I like it so far.

They put it on demand next day if you have fios.

Word, I have an Xfinity account, same deal. I like how Amazon tried to bate us in with one free episode than 1.99 for ep 2. Fuck that

this show has pinocchio potential. it might be able to fill the BB void

The beginning of the episode is the present time, with Saul in hiding. Now. Working at Cinnabon post BB. He pops in the tape to reminisce, then the series flashes back to the past.
