In defense of Sirius's muse, you should learn your country music history sir. Online came out in 2007. By that time, Taylor Swift had already sold over 3 million albums and had a number 1 song.

As an interesting piece of trivia, I fired the guy from her Tim Mcgraw video from a part time job when he was 16.

I knew that, but Taylor Swift still wasn't touring herself at that time (at least to my knowledge) and was still at "opening act" status. Very shortly after that she REALLY blew up huge.

I think they shot the video a tiny bit before Taylor had her string of hits in 2007-2008.

I guess her decision to go from country music to become a pop star has paid off.
