Add Mississippi to the list. The gaming control guys requested an opinion from the Mississippi Attn Gen, after getting many request for guidance. Note the request came in large part due to the scandal that brought all this attention on DFS.
Official Opinion was released today, 29 Jan. They sited the same laws that were already on the books, that makes pretty much any form of unregulated unlicensed gambling illegal, with one exception, "Dog Fighting". Lol that the Attorney Gen literally left that outdated carve out for dog fighting in his official opinion on the legality of DFS in Mississippi.
I've seen that before, when I was looking at the law regarding online poker. Miss has not gone after anyone playing on the unregulated poker sites, and all the unregulated sites accept Miss players. This DFS mess could change that.
The AG left the ball in the legislators, basically saying if they want to change the law, he doesn't care, but as the law is written, DFS sites are operating illegally in Miss.

This should be interesting on PBS Frontline tonight. Not sure why the NY Times has such a hard on for DFS.
