LOL now that was some full blown tilt.
And now that I have had a few minutes to wrap my shallow mind around your post....
Hero wasn't a suggestion based on camoflage, David Jung is probably the most accessable poker room owner in the history of online poker, 90% of the people here have spoken to him personally and we all have his email and contact info.
Black Chip is my affiliate for a reason, never heard a shady thing and Nathan, the owner is also very accessible to everyone.
You made comments about upper management in your defense of your lock affiliation, Im just saying, plenty of merge skins have accessible upper management...
Also, you even acknowledged Locks shady handling of some things, so why associate with that at all if it is easily avoidable?
I enjoyed your Annie Duke write up for what its worth and this forum gave me the chance to read something from someone I have never heard of so lets not discredit it yet. I will discuss your blog in a positive light on my radio show this week...
and furthermore, Willie is God
coupla faggots around here
Who the fuck is Scotty Clark?
Disappointing forum tilt from a guy who wrote such a good Annie article.
Look, Scotty, if you are playing on Lock because they're giving you some insane secret rakeback, that's fine. I mean, I still don't agree with supporting a shady operation just for better benefits, but at least I'd understand that you're doing it for your own bottom line.
The rest of your essay was, frankly, a lot of apologizing for Lock and its shady reps/actions.
Rizen is just as guilty as the rest of them of covering things up and being the mouthpiece for their scams.
I once thought he was a good guy. Not anymore. You are as fooled by him as the general public is about Annie.
Rizen promised to leave Lock if he saw evidence of shady behavior by the company, and just like Joe Sebok (who made the same promise about UB), he didn't when that evidence was presented.
As Jasep said, there's no reason to play on Lock when much more honest skins exist, such as Hero, Black Chip, and Carbon.
I think you would have been better off by just saying, "Lock gives me some extra benefits that I can't disclose, but that's why I play there and have them as an affiliate", and left it at that.
Time and time again, we see people that are willing to compromise what are considered to be commonly held principals for a few extra dollars. What everyone fails to understand when doing this is very simply, there is no short cut to the long run. Taking short cuts is like trying to cut time on a journey by going off road and trying to cross a farmer's field with a road vehicle. It might go ok for a while, but eventually you will get stuck in the mud in the middle of nowhere with nobody to help you.
Scotty is an alright guy, but he does suffer from Internet Tilt Syndrome -- I've seen him go just as nuts on Johnny Hughes (the old guy who writes the 'back in the day' articles fro Bluff Europe) and he had the memorable 2+2 thread where he was on some UB sponsored show and got into a big tiff and walked off the set or something. Riling him up seems to have been Willie's aim from the get-go, which was well-played sir, so cut Scotty a little slack. That said, PFA is probably not the place to go if you want the kid-glove treatment and Scotty isn't the kind of guy who is just going to ignore a troll post (so I guess he is like your JewDonk in that respect).
I WANT TO APOLOGIZE...
for somehow leading you to believe I would ever care what you...or this forum of 300 or so members would ever think. I never posted my blog here, one of your members did. And I am a bit offended, as the owner of the site, you made this post...
I must question your motivation. Still looking to break the next big scandal huh? And as you try to get this forum off the ground, do you actually encourage the tone of the posters above and their posts? Seriously? I'm a fish, switch to the site I am an affiliate for, etc. Is this what you are doing over here? You are no better than the guys over at 2+2, and you are imposing your will, your interests and your opinions on your herd, albeit a VERY, VERY SMALL HERD.
And rationalizing my defense of Lock as about "my bottom-line". Fuck you, you're not even close. I defended Lock, because I pretty well disagree with you and your designation of Lock as a "scam site". I was just man enough to admit they are incompetent at times. An example you can understand, I disagreed with your spot on 60 minutes, but I never condemned you or your opinion, like 2+2. I would simply say, "Opinions are like assholes, every asshole has an opinion".
This experience here has been an ABSOLUTE waste of my valuable time. You can call it a meltdown, or tilt, or whatever you bitches wanna call it....just do not bother me and take me off your email list. It's that simple Ace. I honestly don't care if this forum of misfits reads my shit, approves of my shit, or supports my associations.
I just stopped by to say thanks...
Scotty,
If I remember correctly you had some issues with withdrawals from Lock Poekr a while back. Could you give me a quick rundown on what the issue was and how long it took to get money off the site compared to now (what changes they have made)? I'm hearing all different stories on their withdrawal times.
Holy shit that is one HOF tilt. The last thing anyone needs on any forum is angry, insecure spazzes like this guy.
:laterfag
AND...
Steve-O and Vwls are correct about Scotty.
Scotty's initial post in this thread was kind, thoughtful and congratulatory towards Druff and PFA. Then a few remarks about his relationship with Lock tilted him so much he felt a need to spew some nonsense about Druff and PFA.
Very strange indeed but remember this is the same guy who walked off the UB Helmuth/Duke Team Poker TV Show when faced with an undeserved penalty. Scotty's fuse is shorter than Joe Sebok's micro penis.
However I don't give a shit about Scotty's thin skin because IMO his article about Annie Duke was some of the best poker writing I have read in years.
I'd love to see Scotty contribute here and on PFA Radio with Druff. PFA is the hottest new poker site and will continue to grow.
I noticed his excellent article had very few comments. Instead of dissing PFA, Scotty would be wise to respect (if not embrace) this growing poker community. For example, if only 30 PFA members Tweeted a link to Scotty's blog and those members had only 200 followers on average, that first rate Annie Duke article would go viral!
Scotty's a great poker gunslinger so I post this video for him:

Come back Scotty!
Get Scotty on radio druff
This is SOP for Scotty unfortunately. I think he could be a bigger part of the poker community across the board if he just toned it down a bit. He is a passionate player and seems to really care about outing the shady characters in the poker world, but he simply takes things too seriously and too far. Honestly, after the first tilt post all would have been forgotten, but the second one is just ridiculous and filled with rash generalizations; calling out the whole forum because three people questioned his motives/character shows his unreasonableness (a quick search of his 2+2 posts show the same mentality there, he simply lets the troll win by sinking to their level). As someone else said, he writes well and has his own style and flare, unfortunately he also feels the need to attack any critique with an unnecassary level of venom.
The final barrage pretty much sums up Scotty:
It's hard to take someone seriously when their opinion of themselves is this high; and their opinion of anyone who doesn't treat him with absolute respect, and unwavering acceptance of all he says as gospel, is that they are bitches "wasting his valuable time", and after two lengthy posts claims he doesn't give a shit.Quote:

Steve-o really should have went farther in the best poster competition
