No that's not the question at all. America is title crazy. It's wrong to name the champion of a one country league world champions and it's funny that you persist in doing so.

The NHL and EPL in hockey and soccer are the best examples. Both are considered to have the highest level of talent from around the world. Neither league's champion is called World Champion

And just because this forum is 90% American doesn't mean the truth should not be pointed out.

american and canadian teams used to play in the old days...not surprisingly the Buffalo Bills are the only american team to lose.

The NFL is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of their nationality. It's a tiny minority sport outside of the US, though not from the want of trying from your powers that be.

In recent years there's been a strong push from your end to get NFL onto our televisions and into our newspapers and stuff. Even bringing the odd game over here. Obviously this is all agenda driven and about the $$$$ so can't really blame them for trying.

But thankfully we are a proper sporting nation and won't be embracing a 3rd rate game any time soon.

Was in a pub in London early yesterday evening and there was a lower division football game live on the TV that nobody in the pub really gave a shit about. Was just on in the background sort of thing. Anyway the landlord decides to change channels and puts on a rerun of the Super bowl. This almost courses a fucking riot! But order was soon restored when he soon put the REAL football game back on. Warmed the cockles heart seeing that reaction.


I was also at the England v USA game in South Africa back in 2010 and the Americans actually outnumbered us in travelling support. Many thousands made the journey, was really good to see. Met and drank with some top blokes who really knew their shit.

American football is the first choice of athletic rejects. Canadian football is further down the list.
